It certainly raises some doubt in my mind, like surely he can’t be this arrogant...but we both know he is. He’s starting at us while we stare at him with his hand in the cookie jar....but hey the hand is already in the cookie jar so fuck it
I prefer the analogy that we caught him with his hands down his pants, but he keeps going at it even after realizing that "the camera was on the whole time, huh?"

if he suddenly stopped playing the game when the detractors found out about it that would look more suspicious than anything. what was he supposed to do? now he's basically being forced to continue spending money on it to stop the detractors from ruining his streaming career by trolling him even more than usual! there was nothing he could do! the trolls made him do it! he should be compensated by the government or something because none of this is his fault.

I mentioned like a page ago how the fact that he knows we found this account and are watching it not detouring him at all from playing the game is an amazing narrative.

just remember he lied about asking viewers to click ads, for 10 years

How do adults watch this stuff?

How do adults watch anime or [insert sitcom].

With the right mindset wwe can be fun since its just Murrican Live Action Battle Anime.

Its clearly designed for kids/teens but when the storylines are (rarely) good it can be interesting in a dumb camp way and the stunt work is occasionally impressive.

Not sure if its still on Netflix but Lucha Underground was a short lucha series that did episodic storytelling well and its worth a gander if you want to 'get' wrestling (the first episode or two are rough til they start storylines).

I usually watch wrasslemania every year and its a good time with some beers.

On this topic, someone held up a DSP is bankrupt sign at today's WWE NXT Payperview.

Wow, that's a different guy from the one in Colorado so that's great that now there's two WWE DSP sign guys. The goodest of good brothers.

To be fair WWE"s workrate is shit. Vince makes everyone move at a snails pace so boomers don't have heart attacks.

I love how dsp tried to deflect it saying it was the same guy form previous times

Wasnt it?

He also said its the third time? Which one was the 2nd then? We had this, the "dsp get a job" and?
Second one was the same guy as the first time, this one however is a new guy. First and second times were in the same city, plus I actually approached the first guy at the show the first time so I recognized him the second time. Compare photos and you'll see the first guy wore a hat and black glasses to hide his identity (also he was short), meanwhile this new guy has none of that and is taller.

Small edit with more info:
First sign guy was in Denver, Colorado, Tonight's NXT show took place in Phoenix, Arizona.

So if I understood correctly, Dark supposedly spent another $10,000 to reach his new rank?

Unfortunately, this brings a lot of doubt as to whether it’s him or not unless this ranking was done in a 3-4 months period where it’s more believable that he’d spend $2,500-$3,000 a month to get his ranking up. But if it was done overnight, I don’t think it’s him.

The only reason why I believe this still might be Dark is due to how similar his sentence structure and use of vocabulary are between his Twitter/ Twitch/ IG and the discord leaks. Also how he refuses to fully address the situation but unlike the foreclosure saga has indeed commented on it and not completely ignored it which is a habitual pattern that he has adopted as of late to discuss “detractor” drama.

He was already VIP 12, and we have no way of knowing how close to 13 he was. The $10k is the total amount needed to get to 13, but he could have spent that over time. This only indicates that he's probably still spending money. Exactly how much (recently) would be unknown.

Wow, life must be surreal when your awful internet presence actually leads to people bringing signs to your favorite TV show. It's hilarious and It makes me wonder if stuff like this makes him cry in the bathroom while he plays WWE Bejeweled through the tears.

Troll tippers take note: this is how you annoy Phil without giving him money.

I believe people already had him pegged as about to hit VIP 13 early on in this saga based on posts on the discord. Probably just dropped a few hundred on the latest banner and it pushed him over to 13.

His streams this last week have been pretty rough honestly he's clearly stressed out so I wouldn't doubt he rolled in his gacha game to cope.

Philobouros, the snake that eats itself.

Be on your way to bankruptcy due to being a gambling addict, keep gambling in order to cope with being on your way to bankruptcy.

.....
how the fuck can he be on the path of declaring bankruptcy, knowing that his finances will be public, and keep spending money like that with frivolous shit?

He'd have to be a legit addict for that.

There's been a push in recent years, to get things like gacha & loot-boxes added to the list of medical addictions, the same as gambling.

My drive-by theory is Phil is aware of this, and will try to use it as a defense in bankruptcy court. Gambling used to be no excuse, but there's a lot of activist/bleeding heart judges now that are willing to give people with gambling problems a lot more leeway.

Because it's not the meth, I guess it's somehow less icky & harmful.

That seems like way too much forethought and planning for DSP. Like everything related to DSP's troubles, it stems from little to no impulse control and a need to have a complete disconnect from reality.
