I wouldn't get :optimistic: about any kind of revival. The attempts don't seem to be boosting numbers. Here are some snips from the past few Mixer OoT streams. Peak is 55 views, I thought maybe that was the WR, but it isn't, it's a crash in the final moments. Not sure how Mixer reports view numbers, if the numbers shown are the overall total, or the count when the stream was live. Either way, these are very low. The Splatoon 2 streams are doing better, which I think sums up Narcissa's remaining audience pretty well.

The only note will be for Lozoots for being #1 and discovering the glitch in question (they may wind up calling the the "Lozoots Skip").
Lozoots did not discover those glitches. It was the work of various glitch hunters, including MrCheeze and GlitchesAndStuff, that destroyed any%. All Lozoots did was become better at it than anyone else in the first few weeks of discovery. Also, the glitches already have names: Stale Reference Manipulation (SRM) and Arbitrary Code Execution (ACE).
His continued use of underaged anime girls in his overlay is proof that he's still a disgusting ghoul who hasn't changed.
The "anime" girl is just an anime-style drawing of Saria, who is a character in OOT. Also, she is probably several hundreds of years old, but the Kokiri are supposed to be eternal children, so they still have the mentality of children. I'm not trying to defend the use of anime backgrounds on speedrun splits, just pointing out the facts in this one case.

I liked watching Cosmo, back before they went literally insane. They were pleasant to watch speedrun Zelda, also Castlevania 64, which they were one of the few people to even run that, as it's not particularly well-liked.

Their horrific transformation was just that--a total 180. I don't see how anyone can watch the footage of them sitting on stream, crying and whispering into the camera in the dark about their old photographs and NOT recognize mental illness. They had a full-on fucking meltdown. It was really sad to see what they turned into.

It’s been said before, but they fucked up so bad in front of a live crowd they snapped and trooned out. After being a literal cuck; like jfc, you sucked at Mario maker so time to be a troon?

i really think he needs it. it's a sad tale but think that might work as kind of therapy for him.
Basing his identity on fragile things like world records and competitions is what got him into this mess in the first place. If he wants material improvements he needs actual therapy and actual stability in his job and life.

It won't - Cosmo (for some reason) never realized that he was popular because he was likable and had fun. He thinks it's 100% because of the Speedrun WR and GDQ '14. Even if he was #1 with a full minute over everyone else and streamed speedruns all day - it wouldn't matter. No one wants to watch a man-to-woman breaking down crying in a dark room, no matter what they're doing in a video game.

Can I mention I personally always thought that Speedruns were kind of stupid ? I mean that in a personal way, I just never saw the point to finish a game as quickly as possible besides it being a childish bragging right. I suppose my issue with it is that when speedrunners act like they are doing something more than they actually are, for example, when someone acts in social media with an ego because they finished LoZ Ocarina of Time faster than others, dude, you just fucking played a game, you arent doing anything actually important for society.

If you enjoy watching/doing speedruns, thats great, more power to you, I just personally never saw the point but dont fucking act like you are God's Gift just because you finished a game while dummies cheer you on for some reason.

Did they get to play the game beforehand? If I remember right it wasn't released yet and was basically a mystery final game for the finale. What kills me is if that really chewed him up deep inside, under these conditions no one was expecting him to do much or even perfect on top of that he had a 15 second disadvantage where John Numbers was able to just somehow do everything almost perfect. Even in the previous rounds he was at least decent. If this was truly a turning point beyond memes, it is very pitiful.
