A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

Wasn’t the case discussed a few weeks back about prisoners pronouns, or was that just another trans inmate?
Either way, the idea of a ‘recidivism assessment’ is weird. Like, even if these pedos are straight up castrated, they have a decently high chance of reoffending depending on the crime.
I suppose in the cases of CP, it could make a degree of sense to try that, but not physical offense of a child. CP is abhorrent, no doubt, but they can get help to so as to not escalate. Doing stuff to kids, those people can’t be cured though any means we know of.
Crazy.

Different case. The pronoun case was in Texas, and that guy was busted for CP possession, so probably no actual contact/production with children. This guy in Iowa is a straight up molester.

There’s starting to be so many of these trans-prisoner cases I can’t keep them all straight.
At this rate, we might have a new ‘despite making up blank% of the population’ meme.

I don’t see any evidence that he’s violent; pretty much your “molested becomes molester” scenario. Also, he’s never been “intimate” so this dude is probably fucked in the head in a way that has stunted his development psychologically and sexually, but he’s definitely not violent and didn’t rape anyone- it was all “touching private parts.”

So, as much as I hate to say it, I think the ruling deeming him nonviolent is fair, and since he was abused himself, then caught molesting other children when he was still a teen, there might be hope with some intensive therapy even though I’m extremely skeptical.

Also, for the sake of intellectual honesty, Hormone levels greatly affect libido and sexual behavior such as chasing AND performance

A lot of the thinking that suppressing testosterone sinks the libido to the point of erectile dysfunction seems to come from observing the effect of prostate cancer patients on medication that suppresses their hormone levels, they are by far the largest group after all. What most of that group have in common is that they are old men and not dudes in their early 20's.

You know another thing that could have lowered his libido and curbed his repeated molestation of kids? Being in prison where there are no children that he can leer at or diddle. Plus, if lowering/changing the hormone levels would result in no sex drive or interest in sex then the troons would be chaster than the pope.

And some people that have molested becomes gay or lesbian and for them I don't think they can get the therapy needed to convert their sexuality to straight, same thing probably applies to pedophiles.

Unsurprisingly, that Iowa bill that called for the end of troon rights is dead:
House bill to end transgender right in Iowa law dead
by The Associated Press

Thursday, January 30th 2020

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — A bill proposed by a group of Republican lawmakers on Wednesday that would have amended the Iowa Civil Rights Act by removing protections against discrimination for transgender people is dead, a powerful committee chairman said.

Nine Republican House members sponsoring the bill introduced it Wednesday morning but by evening Republican Rep. Steven Holt, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee to which the bill was assigned, said he wouldn’t allow it to move forward to a subcommittee hearing.

“It’s dead,” Holt said. “It just would have had a lot of unintended consequences.”

Iowa law currently prohibits discrimination based on gender identity, race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, ancestry and disability. Gender identity was added by lawmakers in 2007 when Democrats regained control of the Iowa Legislature and held the governor’s office with the election of Gov. Chet Culver. The GOP took control of the legislature in 2017.

Civil and gay rights advocates immediately criticized the measure.

“Allowing transgender Iowans to be fired from their jobs or denied housing simply because they are transgender is a new low, and they should be ashamed of themselves,” said Courtney Reyes, director of One Iowa Action, an LGBTQ advocacy group.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Iowa said the bill attempts to roll back the clock.

“Discriminating against transgender people — or any Iowans — will not make them, or us, go away or stop being who they are. We’ll continue to remind legislators of the obvious: Transgender people already do exist; they aren’t going anywhere; and they have large communities of Iowans fighting for equality and dignity right alongside them,” said Mark Stringer, the group’s executive director.

Bill sponsor Republican Rep. Dean Fisher, a central Iowa farmer, said he proposed the measure to address “a whole host of issues” such as transgender women seeking to be incarcerated in women’s prisons.

It wasn’t immediately clear if the Iowa Department of Corrections has dealt with such requests. Spokesman Cord Overton said he would research the issue and attempt to provide an answer.

Fisher also cited concerns about transgender women participating in women’s sports, an issue not widely reported as a problem in Iowa.

“I think we’ve just got to nip this in the bud,” Fisher said.

He also raised concerns about an Iowa Supreme Court ruling last year that said the state couldn’t prevent Medicaid from paying for sex reassignment surgeries because it violated the Iowa Civil Rights Act. Republican lawmakers later amended the act specifically to say it doesn’t require government entities to pay for sex reassignment surgery. A lawsuit challenging that law on constitutional equal protection grounds was initially dismissed by a judge but continues to be litigated.

Holt said he respects Fisher’s viewpoint but the bill wouldn’t get a hearing needed to advance in the House.

Fisher did not immediately return a call.

The only group registered in favor of the bill is the The Family Leader, an evangelical Christian group that opposes gay marriage and abortion. Lobbyists for several other groups including the state’s largest public employee union oppose the bill.

The Human Rights Campaign, an LGBTQ civil rights advocacy group, said at least 20 states prohibit employment, housing and public accommodation discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.

I'll bet the vast majority of uses of those emojis will be as jokes. Like dudes ragging on their bro getting married sending him the groom in a veil saying, "you going to wear this?"

At least no one will mistake him for a woman. Although, in before some dumbass liberal parents let him live in their house because Real True Women have it so hard.

At least Tranny Claus is accurate in that it is about as attractive as real life troons.

So good on South Dakota. Incidentally, the trans activists are dead set on dismantling the safeguarding rules in the UK. Why would that be?

They want to do malevolent things that would be blocked by said rules.

Unsurprisingly, that Iowa bill that called for the end of troon rights is dead:

Almost all these drama whoring media trolling laws fail. They just do it for attention.

'I tested my new name at the coffee shop'

Giving a barista your name to get a drink may be a typical way to start your day, but transgender young people have been telling the BBC how this coffee shop moment marked the start of their self-acceptance.

"Choosing my name was a pretty long journey," says Sonja Howells.

"When I first said my name to the barista, it felt so liberating. It was so freeing. To say, this is who I am, this is my new name! I couldn't believe it."

Sonja, a student from the West Midlands, came out as a transgender female at 14.

"After coming out, I transitioned fairly quickly. Initially my dad tolerated it, but then the relationship broke down," she told the BBC.

"My mum was surprised and hesitant. I remember she said, 'But what are we going to call you now?'"

Sonja had the idea for her name after watching a gaming live-stream, but her mother suggested she take on the name which her parents would have given her if she was "assigned female at birth".

"I could tell that mum wanted me to use it because she wanted to name me again, but I couldn't. This transition journey that I'm on is about me and the choices that I need to make for myself, to be the person I know I am."

Nerve-wracking
Before fully adopting the name, Sonja used her local Starbucks store to "trial" how it would sound for other people besides her friends and family to use it.

"I have quite prominent male features, so for me to use a feminine name in public was quite scary, especially because of the area I live in. I was so anxious walking into the store, I thought I would be tackled by somebody for being outwardly LGBT," she says.

"The cup with my name on was like a badge of honour - it was a symbol that I finally knew who I was."

Sonja is one of several young trans people who use coffee shops in this way. When Starbucks eventually found out about this last year, they contacted Susie Green, the chief executive of leading trans equality charity Mermaids.

"I posted on our forum asking for young people to come forward if they had done a similar thing - I had 20-30 messages back within a few minutes," says Susie.

"They all talked about how nerve-wracking ordering with a new name was, but many of them still had their first cups!"

While the debate around trans equality continues, Starbucks UK has told the BBC it will be partnering with Mermaids, to highlight their work and explore how trans customers use their stores.

Safe space
Mermaids has seen a 600% increase in demand for its helpline services in the past five years, with young trans people and their families taking advantage of the support.

The organisation has said that "transphobia is everywhere" in UK society. Some LGBT activists have flagged concerns about anti-trans vandalism or a backlash in retaliation against the partnership - something Susie Green says the charity is "always prepared for".

Alex Rayner, general manager of Starbucks, acknowledges that "this campaign may create conversation".

However, "measures are in place" to address any safety and security concerns of their customers and employees, she says.

"This is a celebration of trans people, of all ages, that have found Starbucks stores to be a safe space to trial their new name and be recognised as who they really are."

Corporations that suddenly show support to the LGBT community have previously been accused of "rainbow-washing", but Alex Rayner denied this.

"This campaign is inspired by real experiences where people in the trans community found Starbucks stores a safe place to trial their names."

Sonja believes there are pros and cons to "rainbow-washing".

She says: "There is so much ignorance and discrimination that surrounds the whole LGBT community, it will take large corporations to publicly and outwardly support our lives to reduce levels of intolerance in society as a whole.

That's all this shit is. Destruction of society, culture, mores and norms by selfish, self centered usless idiots.

Troons are so useless to society.

Costanza has been found guilty of a hate crime for beating up this dude.

Not sure how they prove it's a hate crime, when this dude comes over more as 'male rapist' than 'ugly troon'. I mean he's not even trying. Where are the cues he is supposed to be a tranny?

These charges carry a mandatory minimum sentence of 5 years 10 months, but sentencing itself will take place on February 7th.
