So let's look at the GoFundMe Terms and Conditions.

It expressly states that "custodial or familial disputes" aren't considered fraud (or grounds for removal). The only thing that even partially stands out to me is the "misleading statements" part of it, as that's what @Lowtax seems to be clinging on to, but she didn't really say much and none of it was about @Lowtax directly.

My guess, however, is that it was a complaint about "Not using funds for the stated purpose" as this was initially created to raise funds for a lawyer before she got one through Legal Aid - and it changed to "moving out of the shelter" after she got a Legal Aid lawyer. It could also be (because fucking goons) a huge number of complaints to a point where GFM pulled it down to avoid the continued headache.

Probably because they spend 90% of their waking hours in front of a computer. Even if your diet is OK, being sedentary has a pretty big impact on your spine and your joints.

I read that reply as self-aware and hoped it would wake up other goons who were on the fence in this shit. Like, it's pretty on the nose about why these people are being stupid when they rabidly defend Lowtax so blindly.

But if that poster is a berniebro then I'm guessing it was made in earnest, which is even funnier, somehow.

I only wish his spine was as bad as he whines it is to beg for more money. On the upside him getting unneeded, damaging surgery to keep the scripts coming is hilarious and will cause real long term damage. Most of his “medical bills” just amount having co-pays for all his visits to his drug dealers with medical degrees. (Rich is too white, cowardly and middle class to save money by going Sarritt Point.)

Lowtax just had a sore old man back from staying hunched in front of computer all day for years plus being fat and lazy. He then decided to use “oh my aching back” to duck out on any child care duties and ignore his wife and children for years while he ate pills and flirted with thots online. Luckily one BPD thot managed to do in three weeks what three years of medical bills failed to do.

That would make sense except my job requires me to be in front of the computer for hours, I'm also sitting on my ass for up to 8 hours a day at school. I guess the only difference is is that I go to the gym daily.

Okay so- I'm actually a US immigrant on a K1 visa in the process of migrating to a green card (like Ashlii should of been - hence why I'm somewhat invested in this hot mess - fuck lowtax)

When you are in the middle of applying for a green card. You can't make money, I've heard it can look really bad once you get to the interview stage. Making money or working jobs as an immigrant is considered to taking money or a job away from an American or dodging the taxman in govts eyes. Because you're technically not a resident of the US till you have the green card all sorted.

It sucks to know you can't contribute to finances, but thankfully nobody in my case has ever used it the way Lowtax has on Ashlii.

Having an active limited time visa allows you to apply for things like work permits and social security. The catch is that there's chance if you do go that route, that you waste the money - because everything has to be processed and done before your Visa expires (which is normally 3 months). So once time is up, you could be looking at wasting a few hundred bucks on a chance to get work and SS early and wind up with a "nope" because the local authorities took 5 months processing your application.

That - and the cheapest way to apply for work permit and green card is to do that joint as you pay much less doing it together. Unless I missed something.

Immigration is a 2 step process, you have an initial visa that gives you around 90 days - during which time your expected to be filing for the green card. After the 90 days, if you've filed for green card then there's a note in the system to say "visa expired but they are protected by process due to filing". If Maple is getting legal aid, then it's already noted in the system that her legal status is awkward due to reported abuse/neglect on her husbands part.

In short, her legal aid is safe - but I assume Richard or his Lawyer got her on the whole "Immigrants can't make money" aspect of her status which means she's stuck in the shelter or forced to be reliant on someone else to give her a home, food ect.
