kids with severe body dysphoria/dysmorphia exist, the idea that they are literally the opposite sex or need to live as the opposite sex is a modern invention. So trans kids exist if you interpret their symptoms to mean they are trans, rather than being simply mentally ill. There are disorders that don't manifest until adulthood, but dysphoria isn't one of them. It is incredibly rare for kids to have this issue.Gay kids exist. All the evidence suggests that if it weren't for his mother, Jazz would have grown up to be gay. Trans kids might exist, but I certainly doubt it, and the troons don't even care about whether anybody's dysphoric or not - let alone so severely dysphoric that attempting to live as the other gender is the least worst solution. But gay kids do.
After all, there's no such thing as Rapid Onset Homosexuality.
I think gay kids exist too. the biggest study of cross gender play in childhood correlates that behavior with homosexuality. It isn't a guarantee, but a kid that plays better with the opposite sex (because of shared interests) they have a much higher chance of being gay. A lot of kids who grow up to be gay have exclusively same sex romantic interests in childhood ("crushes", fantasies about marrying someone of the same sex, etc). Lots of gay people don't know they are gay until puberty though too, so it is a mixed bag.
