WEll, I thought maybe...

having Guiado there was the boss move,
Or maybe Magee from the Tuskogee Airmen
Or maybe his great grandson
Or maybe the soldier he returned home greting his wife and two little girls
OR maybe his promise to get funding for pre-natal research
Or maybe declaring the importance of Washington working FOR the American people
Or the importance of supporting ICE to stop rapes and murders
Or, shit, I don't know, how about the mention of killing Sulameini, with the family of a soldier indrirectly killed by him honored there,
Or, well, how about mentioning the killing of al-Baghdadi,with the parents of the humanitarian worker who was captured by ISIS and forced to be spend the rest of her shit life as his wife/slave honored in the audience, and how the operation to kill al-Baghdadi was named op 814 in honor of the woman's birthday.

But yeah, I guess I can totally see how a drunken lizard woman ripping up a few pieces of paper could be seen as the "boss move"...

At least she's being consistent. HEr reee-tarded pursed lip straight armed seal clapping from last year came right out of a bullying 14 year old girl's playbook.
The state of the union is literally just for show, but come on, the dems have to understand they're not going to upstage Trump, a literal entertainer in that aspect. Trump knows how to play a crowd for ratings, simple as that.

Awww yeah. There's the insanity we crave.
Since World War II, American presidents have, with the full consent of Congress, been steadily acquiring the same powers for themselves that Hitler seized through the Enabling Act. Presidents now start and wage wars without conferring with anyone. They routinely author legislation on their own and and put it into law with the simple conceit of an executive order-signing ceremony.
President Trump began pushing the envelope on the already dictatorial powers that Congress had ceded to the presidency the moment he took office. He superseded Congress’ budget-making powers when he declared a false “emergency” in order to raid money that had been (by law, I remind you) budgeted to defense and using it to build his flimsy and useless wall. This was a clear step down dictator road.
But the real all-time show stopper was when he flat-out refused to reply to Congressional subpoenas with no explanation and no legal action to buttress it. This was clearly a dictatorial act. He was declaring himself above the laws of the land.
He did this to cover up the fact that he attempted to force the government of the Ukraine to interfere on his behalf in our upcoming election. His defense team, when faced with the overwhelming mountain of evidence, admitted that he committed the crimes for which he was impeached. He did the crimes he was charged with. He used threats of unilaterally withholding American aid, which had been allocated by Congress, to attempt to coerce a foreign government to interfere in the 2020 election on his behalf.

If Trump is Hilter, then when will he commit suicide?

So when Trump re-assigns a few billion dollars that Congress appropriated toward other objects/goals it's dictatorial, but when Barrack Obama magically provides Iranians billions of dollars without Congressional approval for empty promises that's legal. Gotcha.

Or when Trump instructs his staff to ignore "subpoenas" for an impeachment inquiry that hasn't been formally set up and asks the courts to settle the dispute, he's literally Hitler. But when Obama's "most transparent government in history" blocks access to FOIA requests, stonewalls Congress from information on his various scandals, and hounds whistleblowers until they flee the country, that's A-OK.

I've said it before, but honestly, insanity really is the only thing that describes these people.

The more I glance through this thread, the more I feel like i'm about to see a repeat of 2016 happen, with the Democrats somehow fucking up enough to convince people to re-elect trump.
The frontrunners are two octogenarians, one of whom keeps forgetting what year it is and the other is a deranged commie (but a damn rich one at that, makes you think); Schoolmarm Fauxcahontas, who's somehow managing to be even less appealing than Shillary; and Mayor Pete Butts, a glow-in-the-dark faggot with an unpronounceable last name. The rest of the field is made up of billionaires nobody likes, Yang's free NEETbux, some literally who's, and Tulsi, who looks the most sane by comparison but has no shot in today's Democrat party.

With a field of opponents like that, this election really is Trump's to lose. I know a lot can change in the next nine months, but Trump himself went over all the accomplishments of his administration last night in the SOTU. The economy is booming, unemployment is down, the wall's going up, illegal immigration is being curbed, energy prices are cheap, we're not entangled in more foreign wars, and by pretty much any measure that matters, things are looking pretty good. With a record like that, Democrats are going to have a really tough time arguing that a change of course is needed.

By the way, the folks at TV Tropes are applauding Nancy Pelosi's ripping up of the speech as being apparently a "boss move."

"Nancy Pelosi just won the State of the Union by appearing to rip up Trump's speech just as he finishes it. I mean damn, there are power moves and then there are Pelosi moves. It is going to be the big takeaway from the speech, completely stealing Trump's thunder with one gesture of defiance. I am in awe."

"Pelosi is a boss. I love her so much. "

Not quite sure that's the meaning you should take away from that.
What’s the trope for a dismissed fool who secretly turns out to be far more cunning then any of his enemies realize and ends up on top? 🤔

Also, according to TV Tropes, Romney "found his spine" by trying to convict Trump.

"Romney regularly speaks out against the shit his party does. Problem is, he's a useless coward who won't put his vote where his mouth is. He'll stand in front of a podium and go, "Trump is a shitheel who should not be doing X", but when push comes to shove, he always votes to allow X. He barks like a Red Dog but can't be counted on to act.

This is a rare moment of Romney actually voting with his rhetoric. So, yeah, "found his spine" seems applicable. Don't expect it to last, however."

And they still cling to the "Hillary won the popular vote narrative":

"The republicans have broken the brakes on this train and is bent on riding along with it straight over the cliff. All through the words they take the speaker stand today.

Some have demonized the democrats for "trying to overturn the 2016 election and the WILL OF THE PEOPLE!" (Despite it not being the case at all and the majority of the people, 65 million of them in fact, wanted HILLARY for president, not Trump)

That "The Democrats are clogging the government with this impeachment scam and keeps us from doing real work!" (Despite the fact that the Democrats have passed almost five hundred bills these three years and all of them has been left to gather dust on Mc Connell's desk out of sheer spite from the little Innsmouth-man in question)

It's despicable how these people are showing themselves fit for padded cells and straitjackets the longer they cling to Trump."

Yeesh, look in a mirror lately TV Tropes?

I don't give a shit what Mittens does mainly because it won't change the final outcome, although his dedication to being the new John McCain is certainly something.
What pisses me off is the sheer lack of principle by every liberal sucking off Romney.
You just know that back in 2012 these same people would have declared the dawn of the apocalypse if Romney beat the Black Messiah.
Of course this is Current Year +5 and consistency and intellectual honesty are for nazis now.
It's all about what you feel and believe in this exact moment because five year olds are the intellectual model we should strive for now.

Just you wait until a post presidency Drumpf openly voices disagreement with whichever the next republican president is, and everyone from Maddow to Takei to start fawning over "Badass Uncle Don" and how moderate and respectable his presidency was

Dont believe me? Look at fucking Dubya
