Yes he will. Perhaps not today, or over this particular incident, but sooner or later he' cross a line nobody can ignore. Intentionally or because his mental health hit rock bottom. His mental state will get worse (and if threatening blackmail and rape as if its nothing proves nothing else its that he has degenerated mentally, the lucas of a year or two ago wouldn't be that stupid) He's a schitzo dam with a ton of cracks in it already and inevitably that dam is going to burst one way or another
As another poster pointed out, lucas has a violent history even with his own family that he admitted himself. Its likely what prompted his first trip to the nuthouse back in 2000. Chances are, like was mentioned, that his criminal record would be more extensive DV wise if his family had pressed charges over it. tbh they didn't do him any favors in the long run by not doing so. Might have been the kick in the ass he needed to cut out some of his behavior. He also by his own admission is a scammer that ripped a woman off of $400. and given several of his stalkerish and filming incidents, not to mention the leaving candy and notes around.... I don't think hes a timid or unlikely to do something as some people seem to think he is. He's more the type that will do something if he thinks its likely he won't get caught, or if he gets desperate enough to have nothing to lose. Its unwise to underestimate predatory behavior in anybody as you never really know what people are capable of or whats really going on in their heads

I'm not saying they aren't. I am saying they're not doing their job at this point if they are ignoring rape and blackmail threats of any kind. At a bare minimum that requires them to make it clear to him its not appropriate behavior even if they don't take it further than that. If they ignore it and he does something to someone, pretty much ever, that person can come back and claim they were willfully turning a blind eye to red flags and sue them and the company that runs the building, if not worse. At a bare minimum they should be showing they did literally anything, even if its just a stern warning to cover their own asses. But that aside, like I said, its unwise to underestimate people like lucas. Some in his position flat out play stupid to get just that kind of response so people will pay less attention to their predatory behavior. I don't think lucas is smart enough to do that but its still a dangerous mentality to have

Yes but they know his history (especially after the incident with sending that woman gifts that he met inside the last time) so they'll keep an eye on him. Its not optimism, legally they can't ignore threats like that. He literally put in writing his intent to commit two felonies including coerced rape. It is literally their job and a legal requirement of their job to step in and put a stop to that exact kind of behavior. They may not do so, but if they don't they aren't doing their job and their are assuming a considerable liability if he ever does carry out a similar threat on anyone, pretty much any time. To put it simply, they're idiots for not at least warning him and covering their asses
