One thing I'm not sure was covered earlier was that this guy just kind of faked his way into video games. There's an in depth article somewhere that clearly states he was not some avid gamer in his childhood ...or high school...or college. He barely played them.
ZDTV was hiring and they picked him because he was making a cable access show at the time. He was fortunate that some woman at the audition saw his act on TV and the rest is history.
Oh, he apparently was picked on in high school and said he had to become the class clown to survive. I got a feeling if you asked people in his high school they'd say he was probably some awkward loser who made cringy jokes to the girls in a desperate attempt to get some. Even though I enjoyed x-play for what it was he never struck me as inherently funny. Not in the least.
Also, Morgan Webb is a hottie.
