Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

That's because the first, as a term, is a forced-meme reaction to the second. It also has the problem of nobody knowing what you're talking about if you try to write the acronym, since the Elder Scrolls exists.

It's the Dangerous Donald thing all over again.

They should have gone with Trump Dickriding Syndrome, it's simple, it gets the point across and uses the same acronyms. It not only calls your opponents fagots but gives you the chance of controlling the word since every time someone type TDS you and your friends could mock them for riding Trumps dick. If you get enough people to think of it as a joke and make it synonymous with trump dickriding you'll force your opponents to chose a new term to describe Derangement to avoid mockery.

I mean R/thedonald worked too but Trump DIckriding Syndrome works so much better as a way to destroy a term you don't like.

I know the people at TES are too stupid to actually think their acronym through since Derangement not only describes illogical defense but also illogical attack. It works for both insane pro and anti-trump statements whereas enslavement doesn't really work since it's involuntary and your slave won't do a good job defending you. It's kind of a great example of the left being on easy mode for so long that they can't fight anymore since the name is a clear knockoff but only goes halfway through with the jab.

They're still freaking out over this federal architecture thing? Good grief.

Oh, right. For context, they're freaking out along with Aaron Rupar because there's going to be a play at CPAC or something. I'd bring up the hypocrisy involved with none of them caring that there was a New York play in 2017 where an exceedingly Trump-like "Julius Caesar" was stabbed to death in Central Park, but I doubt they even care.

Amusing, because while some of the more modern buildings made look snazzy (blobitecture is pretty decent, and I like neo-futurism), brutalism still looks like absolute dogshit and needs to go.

Trump tweeted out a video and now people are spitting mad and want it removed from the internet as it's "doctored" "fake" "misleading" insert buzzword. The video in question takes stories and information from Trumps SOTU and repeatedly highlights Pelosi ripping the speech apart. It's 5 min of this: Tuskegee airman (Pelosi rips), vetern reunited with family (Pelosi rips), lowest black unemployment (Pelosi rips), you get the point. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1225553117929988097

Twitter still mad.

Also a crosspost from the Impeachment Megathread, apparently both Twitter and Facebook told Pelosi “no” when she demanded that tweet the President made be taken down.

A little(clickbaity) icing on the win-cake:

Tyrant Pelosi demanded Facebook and Twitter take down a very powerful TPUSA video meme tweeted by President Trump of her tearing up his SOTU speech.

President Trump tweeted out the video meme titled, ‘Powerful American Stories RIPPED To Shreds By Nancy Pelosi.’

The video, which can be viewed below, showed Pelosi ripping up Trump’s SOTU speech every time President Trump honored a powerful American story on Tuesday evening.

Pelosi pre-ripped the speech as Trump mentioned Rush Limbaugh’s lung cancer diagnosis, proving she pre-planned the theatrical stunt.

Pelosi is an evil, calculating witch and lashed out at reporters who suggested her ripping up the SOTU speech backfired.

The tyrant then demanded the video be taken down.

The Hill quoted Pelosi spokesman Drew Hamill on her demand to take the video down.

“Hammill said Pelosi’s office has asked both Twitter and Facebook to take down the video.”

Democrat Congressmen also demanded the “deceptively edited video” be taken down.

Twitter and Facebook smacked down Pelosi’s demand and refused to take down the video.

CNBC reported:

Both Facebook and Twitter decided against removing the Trump video, although the companies cited different reasons for their decisions.

Not. Tired. Of. Winning.

Make sure to share the Trump video of Pelosi shredding American stories far and wide!

Pelosi is really having a rough week.

Honestly, the only modern architecture that I do like is Art Deco but at least the people that designed these types of buildings did put some character and class into them too.

Empire State Building. New York City, New York. USA.

So other than that, most modern architecture sucks.

The Roman architect Vitruvius laid out three basic rules on making a good building; it has to be durable, it has to be useful, and it has to be beautiful.

The reason why many ancient buildings are so well loved is not only are they built to last and were (and some still are to this day) in many times used for many different purposes but also that they are very pleasing to the eye. The biggest reason why many people love traditional architecture from around the world (whether it be Greek, Roman, Indian, American, Swiss, Japanese, Latin American, Austrian, and so on) is because they are very pretty to look at and they serve as testaments to the best that humanity can do. Everyone will remember the greatest things that our ancestors built but also no one will really remember the crappy concrete and glass monstrosities that will be demolished in ten to twenty years from now.

What's the factual objection? No, she didn't rip up the speech? No, she carefully avoided ripping up those specific pages?
There is none. The main objection is that the video has been "doctored" in order to "mislead" people in some vague, undefined way, because it has editing and it makes Pelosi look bad.

The only way I could make that argument make sense is if you tried to claim that the video was making it look like Nancy was ripping up each individual page after Trump talked about each item in the video. But anyone with half a brain could clearly see that it was just using the same Nancy tantrum clip over and over, so even that paper-thin argument doesn't hold up. It's nothing more than impotent flailing because Pelosi's stupid stunt made her look like a vindictive, petty cunt.

well, let's get a baseline, what are other dumb goofy stage acts over the years at CPAC, or whatever it's democrat equivalent is?

Twitter link has video of what the play is like and it’s annoying some liberals, neocons and Lawfare people.

Part that gets to me is how much weight (get it’s not a ton) Dean Cain has gained since his Lois and Clark days.

Dude's had quite a few health problems over the years (a diabetes scare, damage to his knees). Getting a little heavier in his mid-50s isn't that surprising under the circumstances.

That being said, he's still easier to look at than the real Peter Strzok.

I met this girl about a decade ago and we shared the same sense of humor and quickly became the best of friends, but as the years went by she started heavily leaning left while I mostly stayed the same twat I've always been. We slowly grew apart because at a certain point I just didn't enjoy talking to her anymore because I constantly had to watch what I said like I was walking on eggshells. Eventually we had a dramatic falling out when she thought I was insulting her crossdressing boyfriend when I called him a guy, and she called off the friendship. The guy himself confirmed he wasn't dysphoric or a tranny or whatever, but for whatever reason she pretended he was a woman anyway. It was as nonsensical as it sounds, but to me seeing her toss me aside over something so stupid was kinda depressing, even if we weren't on good terms before the fallout.

Nowadays I mostly just keep my politics to myself. SJWs, man.

Saaaaame. I just shut my mouth.

For me, it's a mix of in-laws, some of my lifelong friends, and some of my husband's lifelong friends. Both my husband and I bite our tongues more often than not these days. It's made hanging out a lot less fun for us.

It's not that I'm afraid to speak up, per se. It's mostly that I know that if I say anything, nobody is going to get anything out of the conversation, as it will immediately turn into a screaming match. I've seen people rant and screech about Trump with literal tears in their eyes ... And that's with nobody contesting them! Jesus, imagine if anybody disagreed with them. I just know it would get ugly ... So I say nothing.
