Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

I don't necessarily think this is TDS, considering trump has literally nothing to do with any of it. At worst, I think they're just cashing in on a bit of controversy.

also, this category isn't new - con air won it back in '97. looking at the nominees then and now, it looks like it's more referencing disregard for property/life within the film itself? the nominees look to be mostly disaster films or films with similar amounts of destruction.
Most SJW bullshit doesn't work by inventing new things. It works like this:

Repurposing an award to REEEEEE about white supremacy is therefore a pretty standard approach.

fair enough, i suppose? i just don't think it has anything to do with trump, and the poster said it was new, so i let them know it wasn't. i even admitted in my post that it could be just milking controversy.

that's kinda weird because trump
1. identified with the republican party by signing on as a candidate in 2015
2. killed it by assuming direct control of the leadership de facto by getting all the delegates
3. gutted it by winning the presidency and now nobody's going to stand up to him without getting called out by trump's supporters
4. is wearing the republican party as his suit while demanding respect

and i'm pointing this out as a deranged right-wing nutjob.
projection goes both ways. be careful!

Yeah, it's sure a shame how Republicans have been losing elections ever since Trump was elected.

Don't call for caution and then send a bullet into your own foot. It looks silly.

I didn't know it wasn't a new category, so I'll thank you for pointing it out I should have done a litle more research before making a declarative statement.

As to why it relates to TDS its the movies they picked and how each one of them, Hellboy excluded, had coverage by the mainstream media for supporting the far-right narrative. It's not exactly related to trump but I know both Dragged and Rambo had critics saying it was the movie for Trump supporters and we all know how joker was meant to inspire a new wave of alt right figure/inspired shootings. I mean in hindsight it more relates to the media desperately trying to drum up controversy and the razzies jumping on that bandwagon. I thought it was close enough to TDS to discuss since it may not be directly related to the orangeman but each of these movies, Except Hellboy, were picked because the media told people Trump supporters would like them.

here comes the dumb ratings

I rated you dumb for the autisically long post with too much information. Not for your opinion.

No one cares if you're black or white or red or whatever. Just because people don't share their details, doesn't mean everyone else here is white. Laughing at rețarded people who lose their mind at the president being a shitposter is something all ethnic groups can enjoy.

Sorry for coming across like a bitch, but Null was threatening to shut down TES for people turning it into Deep Thoughts. I would prefer to not have it happen here.

So.... about that.

I honestly think part of what makes him so appealing to people is that he is kind of...on their level? intellectually, at least. I don't necessarily mean this in a disparaging or condescending way - even with his being a multimillionaire, he's very good at making working class, everyman Republicans feel represented and listened to. he speaks in a manner almost entirely free from the meaningless political jargon/word salad that is all too common in career politicians, he's boisterous, doesn't filter himself, and he is excellent at pumping up a crowd.

I get what you're saying, and I think a more neutral way to say it is "People don't feel like they are being talked down to by Trump". Trump isn't lumping anyone into a basket of deplorables.

Regarding the Vulgarity, I don't think that's without a point, but I'd rather have a rusted out volvo that starts than a shiny audi with a thrown rod.

One swallow doesn't make a summer. Care to total up elections since November 2016? That would be interesting.

The Dems recently lost a Texas special election by double-digit points despite a 5 to 1 outspending margin, in a suburb of like, Austin or some shit. The easiest to flip of the "Texas will flip blue soon, you should just give up voting, Republicans" battle plan districts, and they failed big time.

They keep pointing at Virginia because that's the only thing they've won....

Virginia happened because (((Bloomberg))) dumped fuck you levels of money into every election all the way down the ballot so he could turn the state into a testing ground for things he wanted to do on a national scale if elected president.

Might as well be black guy number #4, since I am black as well and since the topic has shifted to talking about politicans manipulating minorities, might as well have my input take hold.

Yeah, dems and repubs pander to blacks and minorities a lot. I think it's more disgusting on the Dem side because they are more blatant about it. Because of Barry Goldwater and shit scaring away black voters, the Dems have blacks on a chain. Not a "muh slavery" thing like Blexit niggas like Candace Owens say, but I dare you to meet an African-American who won't vote Democrat. And even when there's a black person that doesn't, they are so desperate to try to get you to vote for them. Reparations, candidates trying, Mike Bloomberg's disgusting radio commercial where he's like "If I was black I wouldn't have had as much success, vote for me and I'll bring you success", and all kinds of shit. The only things Repubs try is using Candace Owens or someone like that as a pawn and trying to put her as a front to get blacks to vote for Repubs, which is bad as well, but they don't really go farther than that since they have no chance at that demographic.

It's funny to think that if you strip the right wing label from Evola, his actual ideas are so bizarre and off the wall, I don't think they would register as offensive to most people.
He's really more in line with theosophy and New Age woo than right wing politics, aside from maybe Ride the Tiger.

The Death Squads are coming any day now!!!! Donald Trump will personally drag people into the streets and gun them down!

I fucking wish he had the balls and political drive they think he does. Right now he's just saying he loves blacks and how he'll defend the borders of Israel.

Did you write like trump intentionally at the end there?

I see you point, but I find it hard to care when its my home that is being completely subverted.
That's outstanding, but I doubt it had much to do with Trump getting elected. And that was kind of the point of what you responded to.

I get it. It sucks. But you need better root cause analysis if you're going to win this thing. I hope you do win it, though. I am kind of doomed in my state, but it'd be nice if someone beat Bloomberg's billions.
