Has this accidentally helped Phil by pointing out his incompetency?
I don't know why people keep asking this question or ones to its effect.

Do you really think the court is going to give him more leniency on nearly $200K of credit card and personal loan debt because he's making dumb mistakes while assisted by counsel?

The attorney amended something in his schedules. I don't see what yet.

He has too much cash so not all of it is exempt.
He has received a shitload of tips this week. Where did that money go?

Oh yeah...

He still has to explain how he averages $5000 a month in business expenses.

This was probably filed based on info he gave the lawyer a few days ago. Still a misrepresentation of his PayPal account(s) since he gets hundreds more every day, but probably spot-accurate.

doing it right before he gets paid is suspicious, it's probably exactly what he was panic-fundraising for

he's playing semantics with the court, made over $1,000 the other day, it's nowhere to be seen, just shows his gambling addiction is real

They'll probably tend to give him the benefit of the doubt as to whether he's deliberately lying or just an idiot. At least if there actually is any doubt.

to the people who know about the us bankruptcy law. is it fraud what he is trying to do?
for me as a layman it really looks like it.

Probably.

@AnOminous and @SoapQueen1, could this have been filed in response to the request for notice? Like maybe the lawyer told him "hey, they're looking at your shit. Is there anything you might have left off? They Will find it all."

Maybe, or he could have been reading here, as some have suggested. Or reading the same shit said by people elsewhere.

I think it's more that he's putting everything in the house as a business expense. Food, gas, clothes, utilities, etc.

I could've sworn he used to say he took out a business loan or two and wouldn't be surprised if one or two of those credit debts are actually business credit lines that he's trying to pass off as non-business as he tries to twist the numbers to qualify for Ch 7.

And I see he put his Paypal balance on the amended forms, although I'm sure they're going to look at his history.

I just don't see this as being true, his CPA would not have allowed him to do such a thing as it risks his own position as a tax advisor (at least it would in the UK...)

We know Phil has probably spent $40k on WWE champions and we know the kind of expenses his business would have with games and gaming related fees. I think it's far more likely his CPA can't tell the difference between a game he played on or off stream and just included it all as opposed to allowing Phil to claim all his bills and food and shit.

I also don't believe a bankruptcy attorney would let him submit data that didn't align with what Phil has sent to the IRS, that's retarded.

Cause and effect - it's mentioned here details are omitted, so Phil updates his details submitted. To me it's natural that Phil has done this in the hope that he avoids the potential issues learned souls such as yourself has brought up as possible repercussions.

It's Phil so I genuinely expect him to somehow game the system.

Just realized what the filing amendment might mean. The day Phil filled everything out, the PayPal was empty, so he didn't put it on there. He sees everyone here talking about it, asks the lawyer, and she says that he's a stupid fucking idiot, yes, the thing with money in it most of the time does have to be included you abject retard.

I can't believe Phil asked his lawyer anything. The successful businessman obviously did nothing wrong duhuhuh. She probably brought it up. I guess she's not paid enough to care about the other 20 discrepancies.

I know Americans are shit at saving money, and getting into debt and all that but I just can't believe that I have more cash on hand than someone like Phil who makes more than double what I do annually and he has pretty much nothing to show for it. The guy can't even go on a vacation. As much of a stupid expense the move to Seattle was and how much it likely raised his cost of living other than a few staycations I don't think he really had any experiences worth mentioning.
There last few years of begging on twitch has only got him a cat, another stack of blu-rays and a snarky wife. He can't even say, oh I was really living it up drinkin on the couch playin wrasslin. Like if you're gonna go into fucking debt maxing out credit cards like this at least do SOMETHING holy shit.

I find it funny that Phil claimed in 2013 he was smart with his money. Saving it because after all he has a finance degree.

So now that the PayPal account is listed what are the $1500 in business assets? Would he be trying to claim the electronics that way.

My thought process about his PayPal wasn’t so much the balance, but where the money is going. The trustee will check his account to see where the money went. I really hope he has been funneling money to his mobile game addiction so Khet wouldn’t see. It would be really interesting explaining thousands in App Store purchases to an incredulous trustee. No lean in manual bans, dood!

The problem is he plays games for a living and Phil could easily say "those are just game purchases, I did nothing wrong!"

It's very easy to make the claim that they are business expenses when he works as what he does and unless the trustee or anyone else actually goes and cross references the games he plays on stream vs the games he's claimed on his taxes then he could easily get away with this again...

But, if Phil tries the "duh business requires me to spend $5k a month on WWE Champions!" con, then he won't qualify for Chapter 13 as he can't maintain a steady income. I know he's probably all-in on Chapter 7, but he's playing stupid games here in his desperation to keep the WAkhando.
