Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

Not open for further replies.
How long is the virus able to survive on surfaces at room temperature at the moment?
It has been said 5 days on a smooth surface. A lot more on a rough one such as clothing.

I would say they’re at that point anyway. How enforceable is a quarantine for 760 million people anyway? At this point, the most they can do is set up checkpoints and hope people snitch on others for violating the quarantine. The Chinese government has lost all control of the coronavirus at this point. They never had control, sure, but expanding the quarantine to more than half the population is an admission of defeat.
The Shit Goblins lost control a long time ago. That is the reason why the so called "reporting" started in January.
I strongly believe that this virus started in late November. I also strongly believe that the CIA's numbers were correct at the time.
There is just too much information that does not give the opposing side that this is just small numbers when they are shutting down 30% or more of their entire country because of this.

So it goes in saying.

I believe that this virus was man made and got out of quarantine and got into the Wet market system. I believe that the Chinese Government has done a major coverup in hiding all of the facts to this situation. They use their money to make the WHO their Bitch.

I believe there are more than 250 million in shut down mode. This number can be as high as what is quoted recently on this site but the minimum is 250 million. Because of this large amount of people staying at home to stop the spread of the virus it is hurting the entire economic infrastructure

I believe that there are more than 1.5 million that are quarantined for this virus and I think that we are in the 5 to 10 million range if actual quarantine numbers. Because The shit monkeys are running out of everything to treat this large amount of people. This also show you how fucking backwards and inferior they are in their medical programs and awareness.

I believe there are far more than 50 thousand dead now. You have to just do the simple math from the number of crematoriums in the are running 24/7 and other burial sites. I believe that there are in the 100 to 150 thousand range. But we will never know as the shit monkeys lies about everything and anything.

As I have stated before Avoid them at all costs We have seen enough material on who these sub humans think about other people regardless of what country they are now living in. I have seen this shit first hand over the years and will not go to their China Towns where I live and eat anything over there. Because I saw what they do in food preparations at the early mornings before normal people get up to work.

Is it panic mode yet. In the West and where I live no. AND it should not be. The basic preparations for the flu seasons/cold is what is needed. If you are worried about not having a N95 or a N100 mask? That is your issue. If you do not have one a new T shirt can help you in a pinch. The goal is not to breath in the water vapor like droplets of a sick person as it coughs/spews out junk. If it does get out of the area (6 to 10 feet) and immediately remove your t-shirt/ Bandana around your face and throw it away then get your hand sanitizer and start wiping away your hands then your face. Then separately wash your clothing AND yourself. A T-shirt is better than nothing and if you are that worried then go with the face shield, goggles and so on, if the Corona-Chan decides to do a serious grind on your defenseless crotch/neighborhood.

Everyone is so damned worried about the masks, well what about your clothing? Your shoes and all of that you have on you? USE COMMON SENSE and your chances of being fine are greatly improved. Wash your hands after going out in public. Wipe down the door knobs every single day. No shoes in the home. Simple common sense things you should do during fine.... Otherwise Darwin is in action.

Again I am not that worried about it, but then again because of my skill set and getting information on this site I'm using it to my best advantage. You should not worry as well. Just stay clean and avoid Large (Asian) Crowds for the moment if you are that concern.

And if I start to get concerned I will state the reasons why I would be so that others can be prepared as well.

Information, deduction, and being informed on what is really going on is going to keep us safe. Because the Government really does not want you know exactly what is going on. And their reasoning (yea) is not to incite panic.

Also just a fyi my second contact over in that region of the world has reported back to me and is safe as well.

So the rest of you Kiwi's use your common sense and prepare for the usual flu/cold seasons and be informed on what is happening next with Corona- Chan.

Be smart, be safe.

I can't prove it is a bioweapon, just like you can't prove it is bat soup and disgustingly unhygienic wet markets, but some signs point to it being a bioweapon and you're not doing anything to convince me otherwise.
It's nature's bio-weapon that helps natural selection work better, also ocassionally decontaminate the planet from some excessive parasites.

shiiit I'm going to have to go near china for business. Well I've made peace with my god. And I'm probably going to die if I get it. Well in case I get wu flu :/ I'm gonna get drunk and maybe run a train. probably more than likely just get drunk. I'm not going directly near china but it has causes of wu flu. gotta yell at some supplier to send more ppe like we fucking paid for.

Time for my promised Wulab dump. All information gathered from Chinanet online discussions. I've been pretty darn occupied with irl shit. Lots of new stuff popped up too, and the main thread got ovened off Chinanet. Jokes on them, ctrl+p, then save as pdf, always handy when archives can't be made. I've saved the newly posted stuff as a PDF too. Not going to include it, I don't know if my actual username is embedded. It's not easy to register an account on Chinanet, everything is linked.

So let's start with a short summary of events.
- Wuhan lab was able to analyse the virus and determine its 75% similarity to SARS, however the lab in Shanghai got all the press. They finished analysis at the same time, however since the sample had to travel to Shanghai, it's fair to say the Shanghai P3 lab was faster.
- On the 17th of January, workers at the lab had a nice winter vacation! Priorities are as straight and Nicky Fuentes and his catboi bribe.
- Ze lab was built in collaboration with ze French
- The lab is over 30km away from the seafood market. That said, being close or far really doesn't matter.
- Their website: http://gd.whiov.cas.cn/xwdt/202001/t20200117_540847.html
- I'm now 70/30 on the virus being spawned by disgusting eating habits and it being brought out of the lab, as opposed to 100/0.
More shit here: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/wuhan-coronavirus-megathread.65421/post-5989821
It's an incoherent post, was early in the morning and I was falling asleep. As I've also said, my stance has changed.
- In July, some spying slant was removed from a P4 lab in Leafstan, turns out her entire team of chinks were spies: https://www.spencerfernando.com/201...hogens-are-held-after-possible-policy-breach/
- Add "allegedly" to above. There isn't any proof, but she did break the rules big time and chances are she was doing it for the government, let's say... 99.9%? 100%-1/(∞-1) maybe.
- She was trying to smuggle the Ebola virus
- All this came from a website "greatgameindia" making such connections. We know it's not ebola but a new form of coronavirus, and we know she tried to smuggle ebola out. So the two events are likely not connected. Typically Chinaman stuff is nothing of surprise.

I trust poo sources as much as I trust People's Daily (anal).

Now on the lab, this is where the lab is located:
Please refer to sources at the end, I don't understand politician roles and ranks etc, relying on Wikipedia.
1581850121661.png
1581850213015.png

It's on the outskirts of the city, so semi-rural.

Workers/researchers/interns at the lab:
1581850251861.png

In the beginning, people immediately pointed out that the lab should be able to handle the virus quickly. They were proven wrong.
Subsequent Chinanet autism led to semi-dox information of the upper management, which were called frauds. The lab was coined as "a toy for powerful politicians".
Here's some more stuff to know about:
- The lab is a P4 lab, the best in class
- Despite good equipment, it's the researchers that really matter. Give me the best racing car in the world, I'll crash it and kill myself, one less autist, same applies here.
- Having hacks running in a lab substantiates to the "virus came from a lab" theory. These people aren't qualified, so they fucked up big time.
- Even researchers can get sloppy with the rules. One lab in America was shut down due to bad safety standards, now imagine Wuhan, the home of incompetent politicians
- Coronavirus is said to require P3 level labs? Not sure if this is true, @Otterly has definitely provided more insight.

Here's Chinanet's singularity of autism:
1581850787738.png

The investigation starts with a user triggered at some video propagandising about how high tech the Wuhan lab is. His autism is activated, and he looked into the upper managements.
- Information on "public servants" can be found easily on Chinanet. I wish it was that easy for us.
- The administrative level of the head director is "Bureau-Director level", level 5 with a rank 11-12. {1}
- Level 5 is a high rank. Highest is level 1.
- Same equivalent rank and thus power as the mayor of Wuhan, way higher rank than the leaders of the health department
- It took him only 6 years to reach this rank, he started from the bottom as a just "ordinary staff {1}", leveless and rank 25-27

Career timeline:
1581851394387.png

1581851408365.png

2012 as a researcher, 2014-2015 becoming a manager, 2014 arrived at co-manager of the lab, 2015 becoming the co-director, and 2018 finally becoming the director of the lab.

I have to admit something, the director isn't a he! (I did it intentionally to add "shock value", sorry)
Her name is 王延轶, born in the 1980s.
No make-up, identity card shot. Not bad imo.
1581851739170.png

Can you believe it, she became the head director, holding a very high rank, all at the age of 37.
What if I told you her husband is the co-principal of Wuhan University? Mr. 舒紅兵
1581851874453.png

Here's another timeline:
1581851967517.png

2000-2004, Beijing University
2004-2006: University of Colorado
2006-2012: climbing the ladder at Wuhan University
2012: Researcher at the lab
2014: Co-manager
2014-2015: Assistant of head director
2015-2018L Co-director
2018-now: Director

Why not spice it up with some leaked emails, ALLEGEDED:
1581852216907.png

2nd of January! The email starts off elaborating the virus and its potential of causing panic, and the state telling the lab to not release posts on the progress, experiments, results, statistics etc on their own. Or rather "we need to approve it first".
Is this real? Plausible.

Is she qualified? Insiders say, likely not.
1581852648229.png

She didn't need Gaokao, got into Beijing University. This is called connections. She was previous a music and arts student, she definitely had good connections before marrying 舒紅兵, as she was rewarded at youth as well. More information later.

Seems like her thesis project and numerous other stuff are in collaboration with her husband.
Tell me if it's ethical to supervise one's wife/lover at the time for a PhD.
1581852733616.png

She started as an arts/music student, then got into Beijing University without the need for Gaokao, as a biology student.
1581852982863.png

Maybe she's gifted, maybe she's qualified, maybe she's a fraud, here's some of her papers on Scopus:

Someone calculated the "h-index" and concluded that she's pretty qualified:

Large numbers are "citations" and next column is years of expertise.

This comment came off as shilling to views, and was met with strong scepticism and criticism:
1581853782434.png

The commenter talks about the difficulty of establishing oneself as a valuable academic, and that Wang has no problem since her husband is an established academic.
It then goes on about her papers being in collaborating with her husband, and that she lacks independence.
Ends with ethics talk surrounding the fact that her supervisor for her PhD was also her lover.
Conclusion: I'm not convinced.

Here's her paper, one of the 121 papers shortlised for excellency.

You can find it here: https://www.pnas.org/content/107/2/815.abstract

1581854214663.png

The couple.

People who claim to have studied with her, claims that although she's alright as an academic, she's far from qualified to run such a high end lab.
[Insert feminist rantings about waman STEM rape culture dumb shit here]
^ Yes, I've seen Weibo Femichinks rant on about how she's being persecuted by the sexist misogynist interwebs and the mens can't stand wamen outperforming them.

I saw a short comment about her being allegedly affiliated with the Democratic party, and her husband being an independent, and both having studied in America, followed with "my conspiracy almonds are activated". I'm going to deny this far-stretched theory, as I would deny the "this is a bioweapon released by China on themselves" bullshit. If the Democrats are smart enough to make a bioweapon, I'm sure it's going to turn people into faggot lefties that vote for open borders, not virus-riddled zombies.
Also the CCP isn't dumb, they won't just give high ranks to potential America affiliates.

I'll refer to the head director as Wang and her husband as Shu from now on.
So Wang and Shu got married despite the 14-year age gap. She was 23 when she married Shu, who was 37.
Nice, true love.
1581855208613.png

In 2005, Shu became the head of the faculty of live sciences in Wuhan university. In 2006, he got his wife to peruse a PhD under the same faculty.
Nov of 2010, Wang got the PhD, became a professor of the faculty that her husband manages.
We know the rest. She then made it into the Wuhan P4 lab, became a co-manager, then the assistant of the head director, then took the head director's throne.
By the way, the previous head director was also a female.

So in Nov, 2010, she got her PhD, then just half a year later, she became a professor of the faculty whose head was her husband.
In 2012, she made it into the Wuhan lab, being a part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which her husband was in too.
In 2014, she was rewarded as "nation's outstanding youth", a prestigious title, to which her husband was the co-principal of Wuhan University.

That about summarises my findings. Make your own conclusion.
Here's mine: Academics, plz respond! Maybe Coronachan is the ultimate gayop.

Coronavirus is said to require P3 level labs? Not sure if this is true, @Otterly has definitely provided more insight.
The main jump up with bsl3 is more paperwork and government oversight and specific airflow, not just in an isolation cabinet (fume hood type thing) but through the labs themselves, which should have negative pressure and specific airflow amd filters . There are also differences in PPE but that’s the main stuff. Level 4 is full on decontamination when you enter and leave and a million other autistic measures. I’ve only ever done level 3 work and that was unpleasant enough. I am fairly clumsy and I was not suited to it.
Which level you use depends on how bad the stuff is, and consequences of escape.

Those who understand this stuff, take a read and tell us how good it is:
It’s not earth shattering, it’s just a fairly pedestrian but solid bit of work on how viruses set the immune system off. PNAS is a pretty good journal. It’s not top tier but it’s decent.

As for management of such a lab, she’s very young and there’s clearly nepotism there. Of course it’s not ok to supervise a relative for a PhD.
Personally, having spent an awful lot of time around medics and academics, I dont think they’re the best people to actually RUN these facilities. The military do a bloody good job of it, possibly because they’re used to rigorous protocols as a part of life. The person you want running them is not necessarily having the same skills as those working in them.
Having seen a few fuck ups, it’s entirely possible that this was a sample that got loose. It happens in the best run facilities in the world, people are the weak link, always. It’s troubling to me that I think that maybe only the military should be handling this shit, but civilians seem to have a higher error rate. Anyway, I still dont think there’s evidence either way for how this originated or got out but plain old incompetence is a possibility, it always is.
Our chances of squelching this lower by the day. Hopefully it will be within the capacity of westernised medical systems to cope.

How is this an example of an act of horror? That they released them after the war?
What? Are you serious?

Yeah, this is a reductio ad absurdum argument and these always look insincere to me. I'm not saying they didn't have the nerve to correct a senior commie because they feared they would be summarily executed. But anyone who has worked a real job knows that correcting your boss is a delicate matter, and the more important the topic (and the dumber the boss' opinion), the more delicate it is. The Chinese system has always to large degree valued loyalty ahead of competence, going right back to Mao's "Red Expert" euphemism and it seems that Xi has re-enforced this during his tenure after his perception that things were getting too loose under Hu. And so while today these bureaucrats and scientists may not fear summary execution as much (although some do fear it a little and China has a rather startlingly high rate of executives who jump out of windows) they certainly do fear potential career (and freedom) consequences for embarrassing a senior commie official, not exactly known for not being ruthless, vindictive bastards. If you're a Chinese scientist who has been told to do something stupid by a commie official who likes to tell everyone he's trained as an engineer but actually is pretty ignorant on the topic being discussed, it's a hell of a lot easier to do what you're told and hope for the best than take the career-political risk of trying to correct the decision. And that thinking still definitely applies in the modern PRC, especially around politically sensitive topics.
The French built the lab with China. What makes them fear dissent?
You commented on money and their involvement etc, which makes your conjecture as good as mine.
Also the lab is in a semi-rural region, on the outskirts of the city.
You're way too late here I'm afraid, lots of new stuff popped up.

No, sorry, that's just obviously wrong. For the Chinese state, which is known to be censorious as fuck, tolerating a conspiracy theory is basically the same thing as endorsing it and if the Chinese state were to embrace that conspiracy theory and allow the Chinese Internet to discuss it, then it's obviously an act of war that will demand severe retribution. And a billion Changs who have been misled to the point of genuinely believing that the PRC could maybe go up against the US in a war where bioweapons are being used and therefore there are no rules - and not be obliterated in a few hours - would probably get a lot harder to manage. And this is to say nothing of the fact that if you allow people to speculate it's a bioweapon (i.e. acknowledge the possibility of it) then that is a hell of a lot worse than the flu, people will get more difficult to manage for this reason too and also you also open the door to the implication that maybe it is a bioweapon but it wasn't the Americans who released it.
Makes sense to me, though I think it's censored because it creates panic. China has 1.4 billion, way harder to manage when their tard count is as large as the population of America.
Simply tolerating a theory isn't an act of war, most people don't believe in this dumbass theory to begin with. Chinanet rants on about evil burgers ad nauseam, it's not an act of war. Some stupid slant chanting nuke LA on weibo isn't a fucking act of war. Speech online doesn't translate to war, wtf.

All this is assuming both of us are correct, turns out there are discussions, and both of us were wrong. I based the claim off some deleted threads, but they aren't all gone when China has the ability to totally annihilate information.
1581858048182.png
1581858144632.png
1581858189511.png

Yeah, says the Chinese Communists. But they are not a reliable source, are they?
What's a better source, yourself? whateversite.com? Me?
CCP's numbers are the best we have. I don't trust it, no one trusts it. Unfortunately we will never know the true numbers, and the CCP will not be able to gather truthful numbers even if they really wanted to. It's logistics and simple math. Hospitals lie, politicians lie, people who die at home due to the virus is likely not counted... etc. These numbers will always be underestimated no matter what. I personally think it should be overestimated instead, and have a model where discrepancies are accounted for, but that's just my stats brain being autistic.
Or just do the simple "here's the range, up to..."
The CCP likely won't do that.

Also this is untrue. I was wrong, it was like 4am, refer to the post afterwards. The lab was able to analyse the virus in a timely manner, check the later comments and their website.
The Shanghai lab was faster, though chronologically they got it done at the same time, but accounting for transport time, Shanghai was faster.

I can't prove it is a bioweapon, just like you can't prove it is bat soup and disgustingly unhygienic wet markets, but some signs point to it being a bioweapon and you're not doing anything to convince me otherwise.
So which one has higher chances?
China's history and culture of eating everything sentient, disgusting wet markets, some kind of virus spawning like the Olympics, or a lab led by someone with a PhD in Life Sciences, did her thesis under her husband, got the positions because of connections, producing it to release on Wuhan's people?

Or the new one. The lab is home to some stupid practices, test subjects weren't disposed probably, they carried some kind of virus and made it out of the lab because someone wanted to make a quick buck? This combines both theories while establishing a connection. China's shitty hygiene, disgusting urge to eat weird stuff, and loosey goosey lab standards, led by someone who got there because of her husband spawned the virus.

This line of reasoning is incredible. I don't need to prove it's bat soup, I said their hygiene and thirst for gross food the most likely, I'm looking at numbers, it's from inference. Just like how I later acknowledged the theory above, as it sounds far more plausible than yours. We have SARS and a bunch of other novel viruses, all because of shit practices. If you're going to start from the conclusion of "bioweapon", then for each case, you'll be able to find events that make stuff line up. This is the bane of such theories.

I'm not trying to convince you. Same goes both ways, you won't be able to convince me on Epstein's death being "didn't kill himself" and some other rather conspiratorial stuff I subscribe to.

Oh yeah, definitely. I was never arguing that they deliberately released the virus on their own population as some kind of Billgatesian population control experiment.
Yeah thought so, we are on common grounds now. I no longer absolutely deny the likelihood of the virus crawling out of the lab due to idiots in lab jackets.
Does China own bioweapons? Is that a question, of course they do. Is the Wuflu a bioweapon in development? I'd imagine that stuff being done in some underground bunker where everyone working there basically doesn't exist, so I'm gonna say likely not.

I don't know, if the Seattle AAAS science congress results have been posted already.
The Munich Merkur (german news outlet) yesterday: US-scientist (genetics-researcher) Trevor Bedford, as part of an international group of researchers claims, the virus isn't artificially made.

According to Bedford, the genetic analysis has proven beyond any doubt that the new corona virus is not only related to the SARS virus, but that the two also have the same strain. Almost 20 to 70 years ago, the two types would have developed apart. According to Bedford, this means that the virus can not be produced in the laboratory.
The researcher also gives new figures on the infected: In his opinion, regardless of the official figures, one must assume that 200,000 people are currently infected with the corona virus.

Could this simply be a naturally-developed virus that was being studied and was isolated in this lab, but it leaked out anyway through incompetence? I am not a viral expert so I have no idea how new strains of viruses come into being. Are they all mutations of viruses we know to exist now? Can new viruses only come into being through bio-engineering?

Could they have been studying a coronavirus that affected only some animals and while doing testing, it mutated on its own and became infectious to humans? What was the origin of SARS and is it just a coincidence than 2 new coronaviruses have leaked out of China, this new one having its epicenter near a bioengineering labratory?

Yeah, that's imo one of the most robust theories, besides the incredibly simple and obvious "shitty chinamen hygiene, they eat stuff that moves, just not cars or boats".

No, new viruses spawn all the time. It's the ones that can be passed on to humans that are of most concern, to, well, humans. A deadly virus may well be spawned by nature in some shitty bat cave, then some Chinaman sees it "那東西會動,可以吃!", then woohoo, time for it to spread.

The origin of SARS was... well take a guess. It's a word with 3 letters, it flies around at night, it's other meaning in sports should be used to bash over the heads of Hubei politicians...
Yeah, bats. Bats with the virus bit civets, and unsavoury fucks ate the poor critter.
Who sees this and goes "herro, looks ryke food"?

I'd imagine this theory in action:
The Wuhan P4 lab was studying a coronavirus found on some weird animal, maybe bats caught in some weird shithole cave away from humans.
After they studied it, instead of throwing the poor creatures into a lavapit, someone either decided make some quick cash knowing its popularity among unsavoury slants, and sold off the stock. Or maybe it was sold to "exotic pet lovers".
The critters made it into Wuhan's Huanan Seafood Market, consumed by tards, and the virus spreads.

This theory can be counted:
Q: "If they knew the virus, why did it take them so long to analyse it?"
A: They didn't. They were studying it, they didn't know that humans can get it.

Q: If so, why didn't they admit it as a fuck up?
A: They want their heads connected to their necks.

The theory can also be modified. Maybe the animal came from whatever shitcave, but the lab decided to not study them. Nature being mysterious made the animals carry some virus, which they sold off to whoever, which coincidentally can be passed on to humans. This will explain why they weren't able to immediately analyse the virus. Or, they are simply lying. However I don't think it's the case. It's rare for China to have leaks. Someone leaked Dr. Li's reprimand charge paper thing. Someone leaked the Redcross stuff and the fake mask shit. Why isn't there a leak yet? Maybe it's just a massive oversight.

Either way, it's a theory worth entertaining, and it doesn't just start from a conclusion.
Bats in cave > lab > market > idiots eating it
Bats in cave > fucktard sees that it moves > captures them > market > idiots eating it
What we can almost be certain about is, the virus was brought to humans through consumption or cross contamination.
What we don't know yet is the causal link. How did the animal get into places where humans are? Who brought it into metropolitan areas? Is it the lab? It is someone who sees weird stuff and wants to eat it? Exotic pets market then someone wanted to eat it? Did the bats with the virus bite pangolins, which were then consumed (a crime btw)? Who knows.

omg I wanna cuddle it before I eat it. :/ like serious who look at and be like food?

According to Bedford, this means that the virus can not be produced in the laboratory.
Could this simply be a naturally-developed virus that was being studied and was isolated in this lab, but it leaked out anyway through incompetence?

yes. After SARS, they will have been collecting as many samples as they could to study from wild animals etc. This allows you to look at how the virus is developing and moving between species (fast? Slow? Specific species to jump?) and also having different strains allows you to compare (this strain is weak, and has a mutation in this capsid/spike area, etc)

It’s entirely possible that some animal was infected with this in a lab, just to study progression or make antibodies, or it was simply a wild sample being studied in vitro.
Incompetence, or SOP not being followed is way more likely than ‘deliberate bioweapon release reeee!’ A broken drain lead to a foot and mouth outbreak in the UK recently.
It may not be created in a lab, but it could have been released from one. Or it could be a wild sample brought into a wet market - that is more than likely. Nature doesn’t need us to spawn plagues, she’s more than capable of creating them on her own. We do help spread them, though, with our disgusting ways ...

Yeah it's like a cross-breed between a dalmatian and a cat.
I assume you mean "I wanna cuddle it rather than eat it", not "I want to cuddle it first then eat it"...

Here's what the Chinese ones look like:

Here's ancient text on how delicious this thing... apparently is, and how to prepare it:
“去皮并肠腑,用纸揩净,以清酒净洗,入椒、葱、茴、萝于其中,缝蜜蒸熟,去料物,压隔宿,薄切如玉。雪天炉畔,论诗把酒,真奇物也。故东坡有‘雪天牛尾’之咏。或纸裹糟一宿,尤佳。”
Rid the skin and guts, cleanse with paper, further soak in alcohol, add in peppers, shallot, fennel, radish, steam thoroughly, rid the seasoning, leave overnight, cut into thin slives.
During winter by the oven, consume with alcohol, what an amazing creature!
I don't know how to translate "故東坡..." I do now:
The delicacy has been consumed, referred to as "cow tail in the snowy fields", even consumed by the great poet Su Dongpo.
Or seal in paper overnight, tasty.
I assume some of these steps were skipped during preparation...

1977 newspaper talking about the consumption of these weird possume-cat critters.

The poet Su Dongpo (Su Shi) and his poems:

Bold: Savages eat potatoes and taros for each meal, I recommend steamed mice or baked bats.
I think the recommendation is more savage... I actually quite like this poet. I'm going to rethink that based on his fucked up food fetishes.
