Some people actually legit "knew" he would do this.
Several users were so sure he will, sooner or later, go on a shooting spree, that they started keeping a file on him 2 years in advance so they'd have something to put in the article.

They broke it again? Unsurprising. I used to love ED, but I haven't visited in years. It just seems that at some stage they decided it was 2009 forever and lost themselves in all the edge.

how much do we need to pay jaimas to write/update articles on every lolcow and significant internet event related to them since the last time he did anything with it? half his posts are already basically sourced articles on internet crap everywhere else is gonna lie about, already buried, or simply forgot, but there's not an easy way to find and refer to any of this since it's a post history and not a wiki.

@Jaimas articles were one of the few things worth anything on the lolcow wiki.
For instance, all the Brianna Wu / John Walker Flynt stuff.

And the Jake Alley stuff to. The lolcow wiki was good at doing what OPs are having trouble doing today, summarizing every key point in a lolcow's saga and making more profilic cows much easier to learn about without having to sift through dozens or sometimes hundreds of pages

The biggest problems with the Wiki (aside from the fact that I'm a wordy motherfucker used to tech writing and in dire need of an editor) is that for all intents and purposes I was the only one working on it, and covering even ONE lolcow is a gigantic timesink. Keeping them all up to date is a gigantic endeavor since "no shit too minor" is a thing, but when you have cows like Brianna Wu or Jake Alley, who basically lie about everything, or who cause self-sustaining nuclear autism reactions, as Wu is wont to do, covering them in any capacity is a fucking nightmare. You need to basically have a team of users experienced in wiki use for each one, because it is literally impossible to keep up with the trials and trifles of more active lolcows. Throw in Lolcow Convergence Events like Wu versus Jace and you have a recipe for needing to burn the midnight oil to get articles done.
CatParty and I had a good laugh once in that the old-format Wu article was longer than Wikipedia's article on Hitler, but one of the biggest reasons that was the case was how often I had to go back in and correct shit once new information became available because Wu lied again. That's on top of dozens of subsidiary articles covering the entire Wu trainwreck beginning to end. As one subject, Wu made this process so much of a fucking trash-fire that by the time I added the navigation menu at the bottom of her articles, a-la the CWCki, I had done over a dozen and a half articles all related to Brianna Wu, either directly or tangentially, and while I was praying she'd chill the fuck out in her later years like some other cows, she decided to run for office.
It's a staggering project in scope and not everyone has the head for wiki work. As things stand I just don't have the free time I used to in order to work on such a project, and even if I did I'm one editor.

Damn that really sucks, I really got a kick out of ED. My favorite article by far was the one that categorized High Scores. They'd been collecting info on every sperg that couldn't control his virgin rage and just had to chimp out for over a decade, so it's really a shame that article isn't gonna get updated any longer

Also one of the main guys who updated it was the Couch Cuck @FuckYou who posted here until he went on a near total failure of a shooting spree himself.
