Western Animation - Discuss American, Canadian, and European cartoons here (or just bitch about wokeshit, I guess)

Cartoon Network, what the fuck are you doing?

What the fuck are you doing?
I assume this was a little treat for Valentine’s but it comes as way too pandering/“how do you do fellow kids?”
The salt from IT fans is pretty funny though.

Alright, I realize this is incredibly stupid of me, but I gonna do it anyway, because this this may actually be more stupid.

The main pairing in TTG has always been Beast Boy and Raven. Like, it’s the most consistent thing in the entire show, and something that fans of the original actually like about this version. Any time they had an episode about Beast Boy and Terra, it was a joke that Terra was clearly and blatently evil and just using Beast Boy, and Beast Boy was to lovesick stupid to notice. Like it had scenes of Raven actually being fairly pissed off/jealous about it.

So why the fuck would you treat it as a legitimate thing?
Anyone who ships Terra and Beastboy has obviously never read the comics (also reminder that Deathstroke is a statutory rapist)

So Netflix just released the cast list for Masters of the Universe: Revelation.

Pretty damn solid cast if I do say so myself. I'm fucking hyped over Mark Hamill as Skeletor because I just know he's gonna knock it out of the park no matter what. Crossing my fingers that this show will be good.
Not just Hamill... noticing quite a few dcau alumni on that list

Also 2 Jokers

I saw Jason Mewes name on that list earlier but I just now noticed Kevin Smith's daughter at the bottom. What his angle in this?

Oh, geez, Duncanville (so far) has been the cringiest Fox Sunday night animated debut since Allen Gregory.

I mean, I wasn't that hot on the Bless the Harts debut either but I thought at least the artsy daughter had the potential to be an interesting character even while I was watching the first episode and they've also been teasing the possibility of crossover appearances by King of the Hill characters for their first canonical appearances in a decade (cameo appearances in Family Guy don't count since they're just walk-on gags).

Duncanville is MEH. Just MEH. It'll be gone sooner rather than later, honestly.
I only seeing it running whatever order of episodes constitute the first season. And maybe the second if that was put into production already.

Still haven't seen the first episode, so I'm not 100% sure how mediocre it'll be. But the previews are not promising, and it's co-created by Mike Scully, which is a bad omen in and of itself.
