YES!!! I recognized it from either r/askdocs or r/legalassistance. People there suggested they go to r/assistance and the sub canadian legal advice. I can't seem to find the original posts on the legal advice subs. But the whole CP and MS, and the weeks w/o brushing teeth, etc. was hard to forget. IIRC, this person demanded to speak to the hospital administrator, and then rolled over his foot with their wheelchair. Does that ring any bells?

Finally caught up on the munches. A few notes related to recent conversations:

Partners Healthcare (now Mass General Brigham, actually) is unpopular with munchies. I don't think we've seen any of the Mass munchies visit more than once. I suspect the reason for this is that they're on Epic, which means they can obtain charts from any other hospital on Epic. Which is, unfortunately for munchies but fortunately for healthcare workers, a lot of the big shiny hospitals. Mayo is a grail hospital for some of these chicks so unsurprisingly, they go there for the internet sick kid points, and then avoid any other hospital on Epic from thereon out because there's no point in going somewhere that'll have easy access to your previous bullshittery. So Mass General isn't subjected to any munches in this thread except for Morgan that one time, as far as I recall.

Henderson is a real butcher and if his patients ever start dying, we'll get another Doctor Death podcast out of it. He's going to slide for a while though due to 1) being a private practice who only sees people he's charmed and 2) spinal fusion just kinda going like that anyway. It's supposed to be a last resort for a reason. It's not a 100% success by any means and the failures can screw you up so much you land government-verified permanent disability. I know someone who had a partial fusion for chronic early onset disc degeneration back when it was a new treatment for that and well, let's just say when the surgeon offered a revision they said hell no in case that made it even worse. Munchies are the best candidates for fusion nowadays because nobody sane thinks they sound look a good idea anymore, not with stories like that floating around.

someone in here. Before she goes through her next cycle of drama. I am going to (quickly) introduce you to a lower level scammer I have been following for years, from back when I dabbled as a blogger. (can’t believe I never brought her up before)

This sums her up well & better than I can.

Basically she was a once huge fatty who got a gastric bypass. One time she got a (real) medical emergency of a stomache ulcer perforation, complications from her bypass. Which required surgery and an extensive hospital stay. She then got introduced to shed loads of opiates through this & some other illnesses she claims. So basically since then many times she has purposely caused herself stomache ulcer perforations / strangulated hernias / whatever else emergency by purposely taking medications that are not good with a bypass and fucking with her healing. To get drugs of course.

Her husband, Dan also doesn’t work because muh fibro. But he has a gaming addiction and is basically lazy and does nothing. She complained about this many times on her blog.
His own sister said as much, apparently they had been sponging off their own families for years. But his sister had enough and called him out once they foreclosed on their house and she had turned to grifting off twitter and her followers.
She’s cashed in on her own daughters rape and her sons autism on her blog for the asspats and she is frequent GFM / send money to my paypal scammer. She would constantly claim no money for food/gas/bills then put new items like makeup on her instagram.
Both of her kids got taken off her and put in care for a while because of her messed up ways
She got done for shop lifting aswell, which she earned her a nice prison stay. And scammed friends who let her stay with them too before she got in prison. Even having heroin in her friends house. Nice way to repay the hospitality.
she also claimed that the the husband was violent to her for asspats on the internet and set up a GFM for it. This time it didn’t work and got a lot of backlash for it.

Sorry I introduced her late. she is currently “Clean” or should I say tapering off her addiction. She is nice responsible pet owner letting them get into these packets. which appear to be naxolone. The pets she immediately got almost out of getting out of prison, she constantly has many pets she cannot afford.


To be fair she now has a job but appears to be scamming the Mennonite church. She was never particularly religious before so either she found god when she was in prison or she is scamming them. Which is more likely.

Munchies are the best candidates for fusion nowadays because nobody sane thinks they sound look a good idea anymore, not with stories like that floating around.

Don't worry, they'll eventually start complaining about pseudofusion and failed back surgery syndrome. There's always a light at the end of the munchie tunnel.

Most orthos I know won't even do fusions as first-line. Neuros continue to be sociopaths.

I have been saying that he has some serial sadist vibes. In his case, he gets to keep torturing his "victims" under the guise of medical specialist expertise. No need to stalk and kill for your thrills when they line up and pay you to perform horrific experiments on them (multiple times!).

Would make sense why the guy doesn't take insurance. I'm just speculating here, but I presume that means less oversight. Same with working out of a smaller, community hospital. Far fewer chances that someone will catch on.
