Thanks for doing exactly what I said you would do. Tevin's hustling man, and if you enjoy the product you should feel no remorse or defensive need to attack me for it. I dislike him personally and don't see any difference between the flabby dishonest DSP and Tevin, I gave reason and without what you so blindly described as "salty jabs" which one would translate as ad hominem. None of that. I dislike him, here's why, I don't see a difference. DSP had his 15 min of fame and Tevin's 15 min of fame is elongating DSP's.

Well these features are part of how he makes money. The impressions are the pavlov's conditioning and the tts is just gimmick to edgy kids. They're low to no effort ways to capitalize on where he is, and there's nothing innately wrong or worth nailing him to the cross over on that. He's just more successful at getting his bills paid right now than DSP is. There was a time that many here remember where begging was not a part of the DSP experience. It's just the cycle of content creators and there are many variations.
His time in the light hopefully has taught him how to develop and maintain an audience since the main reason DSP fails is just ego, he assumes he is right at every turn whereas Tevin has that right amount of real life experience/trauma (ala stuff like the flooding) to help him humble up enough. That didn't stop him from throwing hissy fits and being the originator of the Lean In Ban that DSP is famous for now. But it's been time and at this point he's got so many people ongoing he can't give every voice power anymore which is a growth step.

Dismissing people as dickriders before you've even said why you feel the way you do is the ad hom. Referring to that as you being salty is just a response in kind.

Thinking someone's content blows (to me) is a farcry from being no better than DSP, who isn't disliked (at least by me) because his streams suck (thousands of people make crap content and it's all pretty subjective anyway) but rather because he's a dishonest scamming piece of shit. But fair enough, I don't think they're even close to being comparable. I've never in my life donated $ to Tevin and I've also never felt like I had to or that I was being guilted with Tevin going away if I (we) don't.

Also we regularly see that what Tevin does get from viewers actually goes into his equipment to stream and do whatever the hell his viewers want him to do. By contrast, DSP uses donations to buy new TVs to watch his blu-rays on while his ancient laptop seizes up every second stream.

It's just nonsense. First he says 'the Smash community' won't show up to his Smash Bros stream and give him lots of money, and then he says 'vs. my fans show up and support me playing Street Fighter because they love my fake rage gimmick.'

He then says he sucks donkey balls at Smash and would just get his shit pushed in. So why wouldn't his fans show up and throw money at him to watch him actually cry about being terrible at a fighting game?

Tevin diversified a bit but I mean the cat is out of the bag that he's effectively the same level of sperge just a more modern incarnation. Most of his content was just worse version of raw DSP because someone is just unedited adding in the lowest common denominator reaction to it. If you want someone who (at the time) didn't keep up properly with his ongoings while making a living off of commentating on him, who only says things you already agree with while not informing you of anything new, fine. But he seems like the precise first step paypigs take on the way out of Goutville. Also Tevin has done nothing but prolong DSP's most boring phase with gay ass people from his community over the years taking their community memes to troll tip him. He may not encourage it but he benefits from it as much as DSP.

Edit: I guess to add, since I noticed a few people who mentioned him are newer to this DSP game, Tevin was a hard ebegger and would bitch if people pointed it out. I never saw any difference between them aside from DSP just begging on his own while Tevin didn't ride DSP's coattails, he literally road his shitstain into making a survivable income.
Tevin passing out onstream. He learned at one point when he sometimes fell asleep legitimately he'd get tips to wake him up and a few lowkey times capitalized on that.
Or his "like and follow me to win this gift card" scam that loads of stupid content creators used to do.

You're getting pushback because you didn't reveal anything people didn't already know. Tevin makes money off DSP, duh. If you don't like his restreams, you don't have to watch them. Personally I like his youtube stuff since DSP has been ungodly boring the past couple of years. The extra commentary makes DSP actually watchable. The only money I've ever given Tevin was for his charity streams.

I can believe that both could have automated views added into the totals easily, whether they themselves are the source of that originating through their own actions, or it's through another party generating the botviewers for their own devices in some low functioning window into hell spastic hand flapping contest. I could have sworn this point has been raised, in a similar form, in a retrospective stream in the last I want to say three or so of them and it got a debunking while the questioner posing it got called a mohrahn for 'feeding into negativity' due to the fact that when Phil does this it is a 'fun' 'positive' thing he and his fans enjoy doing while those slanderous and false trolls are only doing what they do in regards to him in similar fashion to 'ruin his reputation,' yada yada yada.

I mean, I want to say I recall this, but honestly, the retrospective streams are the bottom of the barrel for entertainment for a variety of reasons and barely stand out from each other, much less the rest of the actual play through streams, but I can't shake the feeling this valid point has a Phil quality stock pignosis answer ready for anybody daring to broach the concept through the usual troll methods that get a response, change attached to the sentiment, or not.

Tevins okay in small amounts. As far as his streams the tts is annoying and so many caw from angrycrow in chat is awful. Quick question anyone know why did Tevins facecam went away?
The tts is like Metokur with his superchats atleast he moved them to the end of his streams now.
