You forgot about/left out the factor that that's in CA -- a state that assblasts people for taxes and cost of living expenses. The salaries for most of the freelancers from users that come and go in these arguments, including the user in the RE thread, say that it's what said they were promised, whereas in reality, it doesn't add up to be enough.

I wish when I had first started I had archived more, because someone once did a tell-all about this backseat couch behavior concerning companies like Funimation, way before #WeebWars became a thing surrounding Vic Mignogna -- that the pay would fluctuate based on how "valued" people were considered on projects concerning the usual suspects of that industry.

Hit me with the thunkprovok rating here, because it's all chin-scratching to me. You'd have to get a big boss for a company/circle like Funimation or CR/Ellation like Justin Cook to open the books and point it out.​
