Recently spain has gotten a buncha new parties finally and moved away for the 2 party system. I'm used to people trying to turn it into a political argument which always boils down to my candidate has the panacea you just need to elect them. It's also frustrating because the dems are openly lying about how we are reacting to it the two that I see the most are Trump defunding the CDC, a blatant lie since they have actual had an increase to their budget, and trump had no plan, a lie again they bitched about the response team being to white a month ago. Jumped into a conversation half way through without context and was the ass for doing it.

I'm genuinley envious of Spain leaving the wretched 2 party system as it constantly fucks over the U.S. and will probably be the cause of the Corona outbreak here.

Is it your opinion that in the end Spain will take less damage from this than the U.S.?

Can we get a betting pool on which country is going to suffer the most due to Corona, excluding china of course, my money will be on Iran or Japan.

Not that good, either. No primary care system that could have been the first line of care, as there is in the USA. Everyone goes to the hospital. The Chinese hospitals were quickly overwhelmed.

Am thinking Iran. Japan has a good medical system, good infrastructure, and apparently good sanitation standards. Don't believe Iran has any of these.


Another possibility might be certain African countries. Can no longer think of any now that have a good medical system, good infrastructure and good sanitation standards. Way back when would have said Rhodesia and South Africa, but that's obviously no longer the case.

Hi guys, this is Vivi. My mom got hit by a car today, and I didn't have many outlets to vent. I went to see her bloody body laying in the emergency room as doctors walked by. We have money, but we were in such a hurry to go to the hospital that we didn't bring any. So I had to go get money while she lay there bleeding. Something isn't right here. Also, no one helped. The woman who ran her over (my mom was a walking pedestrian) said that my mom jumped in front of her car. This is clearly not the case. All in all, it was a big day of disappointment in people and the way society acts towards people in need.

I don't think they want to admit how much is dependent on china, imaging the run on stores it would cause if they admited most of the drugs used to fight corona will have a shortage.

Few things first You say that like europe cares about it's citizens. Second it is, the healthcare system of china was designed to be entirely state funded but after a certain amount of years though they couldn't recoup the cost. Much like if you have a rare or unusual disease you'll have a hard time getting treatment in europe. Third you really need to brush up on history if you think a communist government has or will ever have safety nets. I don't care what your professors may have told you but when you go full socialist the money generators leave and you run out of money quick. Finally one of the reasons our healthcare is so expensive is that we are subsidizing the worlds medication. Since we are the only place that doesn't demand fixed prices companies will recuperate their loses from us. The solution for the U.S. is to let europe take care of itself.
