Actually DNA is analyzed by pyrosequencing, which is kind of like PCR but gives us a readout on what each base pair is in order. We then use computer programs to compare collected samples to known DNA strands available from GenBank on NCBI or other collected samples. We then draw conclusions based on differences. BTW it's best not to talk about a science you don't know with an actual scientist around.
Not to disagree with based tittymaster, but @Amud 's not entirely wrong about PCA's applications here. Distance approaches still get used for ancient DNA stuff if sequences are too brief and fragmentary for other phylogenetic inference methods to apply. Like I think he might've actually wandered into the primary literature and gotten a bit confused. Also, good on him for trying to carry out his own morphometric analysis in matlab; not so much on the questionable data sourcing, though.

I'm mildly fascinated by this guy, honestly. I think he might be the genuine crackpot article!

I'm not talking about facts...
It's obvious from your posts.
I'm talking about the blatant insults that have been used against me.
So are you meaning the scientific facts used to poke holes in your "logic" or us pointing out your sexist and racist attitude?
People have called me crazy, autistic, a troll, and all manner of other things.
You left out racist and sexist.
These are not facts, they are offensive names.
What is with lolcows and thinking people pointing out their flaws is offensive?
I have not called anybody here an offensive name, so why must you do it to me?
Polite racism is still racism. When you cite pseudoscience and attempt to back it up with your own bullshit pseudoscience people will call you out on it. And when you stick condoms up your nose people will call you an autistic tard. Because it's true.

@Amud

Sorry to drop a ton of questions on you again but I find your ideas and opinions very interesting.

Since you feel all men should have a woman, do you think laws should be passed setting up government agencies to help men find a wife?

Do you believe dowries are a good idea?

What do you think women should find attractive that they don't?

How do you feel about age of consent laws? Do you think they should be lowered?

You mentioned incest before. Have you ever felt sexual feelings towards a family member? Would you be okay with a friend sleeping with one of their family members?

1. Okay, so just because I came up with something, that makes it wrong? See my comic. I am a scientist and I am contributing my belief system, not just on this forum. However, you are correct in saying that my theories are not written on OFFICIAL SCIENMAJISTIKAL PAPERZ.

2. Borreby is a city in Denmark. I'm sure the people who live in Borreby use the term frequently. Are you implying that they are all Nazis?

3. You're right. In my society, we would have to devote some extensive time toward creating these rules and definitions. This has yet to be done.

1. You're fine to come up with something, one of our fundamental human rights is freedom of speech and I embrace that idea for everyone, including you. But just be prepared to get called out and questioned for it. This is why it's great to have your facts together, and formulate a good strong argument, otherwise anyone can come out of the woodwork and spread misinformation. Your apprehension of the scientific world is unfortunately more of a burden for you if you want to work on your ideology than it is for us because we simply won't believe you without logic to back it up. This is just your reality if you're planning this as your lifes work.

2. That's a town, not a race. I'm half Danish by ethnicity and grew up spending a lot of time with Danes. I'm pretty sure if we were all nazis I'd know about it by now.

3. Chuck it up on your to-do list.

Bit late I know, but deliberately stretching out your nasal passages is the worst idea ever. You're going to have so many sinus infections.

Also, @Amud you know Lamarck was wrong, right? You won't be able to pass your artificially enlarged cranium onto all those genetically pure kids you intend to have.

We wouldn't have salaries and education would be free. A person's salary is just whatever goods and services they produce.
You realize this kind of commune-like organization is even less motivating than the lack of sex? Your needs are being taken care of regardless of your work productivity.

Are you familiar with cross-race recognition deficit?

Aw, you use the same username and keywords a lot of places on the internet; people usually do that when they want to be easily searchable, so others can find their work across multiple platforms. Sorry to learn your blog was falsely reported; I hope you had your work backed up elsewhere.

Are you familar with Eric Dingwall's seminal text, "Artificial Cranial Deformation: A Contribution to the Study of Ethnic Mutilations?" If not, I think it might be germane to your interests. It is out of print and fairly obscure, but someone thoughtfully scanned it in its entirety and posted it online in pdf format: http://www.bioanth.org/Dingwall/

1. Never heard of it, but I can infer what it means from the context. I'm still trying to decide whether my difficulty with Asian faces stems from this, or whether they really do all look the same. It's an interesting question. At any rate, I have been able to make some determinations about Asians. For example, I've found that the Tibetans have the most Neanderthal influence among Asians. I've also noticed that some Asians, like Li Ka-Shing, follow the same basic Inbred Psychopathic Bankid pattern.

2. Don't worry, I'll have a new blog with all kinds of information up and running before too long. I'll even include some data and citations where I can.

3. I am not familiar. Thanks for informing me.

I don't beed sex to feel motivated. Chris-chan said he needed to lose hisvirginity to feel motivated but since losing it he's actually produced less and burned down his house. I think you're trying to project your sexual frustrations onto others as well as make them a bigger deal than they are. This is actually rather normal of people, but it also means you should check your priorities. Most people find being productive attractive. Also it's believed Neanderthals practiced bestiality.

Yeah, maybe so. I guess Tesla didn't need sex to be productive, according to legend. However, I do think that the average man has a strong desire for sex.
I've done a lot of research on Neanderthals and have never come across anything indicating that they practiced bestiality. I can't imagine how anyone could make such a determination based on fossil evidence.

We then use computer programs to compare collected samples to known DNA strands available from GenBank on NCBI or other collected samples. We then draw conclusions based on differences. We can also compare them based on short tandem repeats and a variety of other analysis. Composition analysis hasn't been used for years. BTW it's best not to talk about a science you don't know with an actual scientist around.

That's not what I was referring to. I was referring to the mathematical methods used to sort the data once it's been collected, to see what genetic clusters form.

You realize that inflation happened when currencies were backed by precious metals too, right? The introduction of New World silver into the Chinese economy caused incredible devaluation of their coinage to the point that most people reverted to the barter system, for example.

Okay, so what's wrong with barter systems?

Free education sounds like a worthwhile endeavour. When I hear people use that phrase, they usually mean state-subsidized education, wherein the government recognizes the value of a highly educated society and provides it as a quasi-public service. But when you say "free", you confuse me. Right now, education costs money to provide wages for the teachers, administration, support staff and maintenance/expansion needs of the campus. If it were "free", what would the motivation be to do any of this? Would you wake up every morning to mix cement for the construction of a new lecture hall knowing full well that you didn't receive any recompense for your labour?

They always say "there's no such thing as a free lunch"; everything must come as an exchange for something else. In your society, what would motivate its citizenry to create product?

EDIT: a currency based on gold (or any other metal) is still prone to volatility. Inflation/deflation occurs when there is a discrepancy between the amount of currency in circulation and the sum total of a country's national product. Change one rapidly without a requisite change in the other, and you get rapid changes in a currency's value. These days, new money is printed along with the growth of the economy to ensure that volatility remains minimal (ignoring for the moment that some inflation is desirable, especially for debtors).

I'm no expert on economics. Like I said, I got a C in high school economics class. Maybe in my society, I could appoint an economist to figure all that stuff out. The truth is that it's beyond me.

Don't worry about it. I'm happy to answer questions. I just don't like being insulted or having biases projected onto me (racist, sexist, etc.). I am alrgely ignoring such posts.

1. Yes, that sounds like a good idea.
2. Yes, I think dowries are probably a good idea too. If ancient societies did something, that means it probably works. Very recently in history, there has been a massive upheaval of traditional ways, but those traditional ways worked in a stable manner for a very long time.
3. It's more what they shouldn't find attractive that they do. Women are attracted to psychopathy, criminality, and upper facial flatness. This is dysgenic.
4. Yes, I think they should be lowered. I don't think there's anything wrong with teenage marriages. People got married at a younger age for most of history. It's only in the past few years that feminists decided to raise the age of consent because "muh pedophilia". What a joke. I don't know why we think we know better than time-honored traditions of our forefathers.
5. I don't like the idea of incest and it's not something I would rather participate in, or have my friends participate in. However, like I said, I recognize that it may be necessary in cases where there are no other options

Surely you don't think it's impossible to find people who resemble your "ignobilids" who are intelligent/achievers.

I do think that.

I am not stretching out my nasal passages, nor am I attempting to enlarge my cranium. I am trying to untwist my maxilla for better functionality and facial aesthetics. My maxillary twisting is not caused by genetics, but by the environment, and thus it will have no effect on what I pass on to my kids.

3. It's more what they shouldn't find attractive that they do. Women are attracted to psychopathy, criminality, and upper facial flatness. This is dysgenic.
If women indeed find certain traits attractive, then by definition these traits are fit.
(However, women are NOT attracted to psychopathy or criminality at all)
"Should" and "shouldn't" are moral judgements, social constructs.

I do think that.
Okay. In that case, can you give me some kind of quantifiable definition of "ignobilid"? That is, so there's some way to determine whether or not someone is an ignobilid that doesn't rely on your personal opinion.

P.S.- Just out of curiosity, how would you classify Oscar Wilde's face?

I don't think there's anything wrong with teenage marriages. People got married at a younger age for most of history.

Teenage marriages were very rarely the norm in any society that kept written marriage records, actually, and marriages before age 16 were extremely rare. Dynastic marriages were conducted among teens and even younger children, but the ordinary person married in their early twenties or even later for most of history. Even during the Middle Ages in Europe, the average age on marriage was something like 18 for women and 21 for men, and that era was a bit of an outlier.

Which made sense, because the average age of menarche was something like 16 in those days, and since marriage was deemed by the Church to be for procreation, marrying earlier than that would likely have been seen as sinful (except for royal marriages and other dynastic marriages, which had broader social functions).

I really, really want to know what you think is the "environmental" cause of what's wrong with your maxillae.

You heard it here, folks. Human sacrifice, witch burning, slavery, and the worship of our kings as gods are all good ideas.
Don't forget a geocentric flat-Earth model of the universe! After all, has anyone actually looked down on the universe and saw that it didn't revolve around the Earth?

Okay, so what's wrong with barter systems?

Nothing inherent, but it's not a response to the devaluation of a currency to the point where it's become worthless, your economy is in free-fall, you are unable to engage in international trade (since nobody will take your money) and everyone's life savings are worthless. But your point was that having a currency backed by precious metals prevents inflation, which is demonstrably not true. Furthermore, you are of the impression that inflation is inherently bad when it is actually only problematic when it's not being accompanied by rising wages.
