I hope this makes sense but something that always comes into my mind when I see videos like this of trans people in action, and actually getting to see their mannerisms and their body post-op is... mimicry. The biological evolutionary trait some animals have to protect themselves from predators. It’s men mimicking women and vice-versa. But in this case it’s dysfunctional and serves hardly any purpose. Like mimicry in some animals it can kinda look like the thing it’s mimicking in your peripheral vision but once studied up close it’s obvious it’s not. What does this form of mimicry achieve? Not much. I can only see the down-sides. Inability to reproduce, hugely reduced dating pool, health problems, loss of ability to feel sexual pleasure, probably reduced life span. This is a big reason I see the transgender movement to be a huge step backwards for mental health...
Like after watching this video, it’s clear to me even though he has had a vaginoplasty, breast implants, and butt implants that his skeletal structure is clearly male. He’s not even attempting to make his voice sound womanly... his mannerisms remind me a lot of a flaming gay man. It seems like he’s over-exaggerating his gestures maybe in an attempt to mimic how women talk but he’s still falling very short of putting on a convincing act. It’s sad, really.
