I'm sure they've seen that trick for years. And it literally means nothing. A guy owned half the small town I worked in and was filthy rich but he was one of the biggest slobs I'd ever seen.
This thing will probably go so quick the trustee might not even look at him. He/she will run through the obligatory questions, nose-in-papers, and call the next person in mere minutes.

For those who say "Don't take pictures/record him! It gives him ammo for pity bux!"
A- He will cry and beg no matter what so that's not a deterrant
B- He would have to admit he went to court on Thursday which is still a bannable offense in his chat
C- Fuck him I want to watch how fast he can waddle as someone follows him
D- Pretend to be a fan. Pick a name from his chat that is a regular and claim you're them there to support him

No. Don't approach DSP, don't talk to DSP, don't bother DSP. Sit back, take notes on what's happening and report to the world. There's no fun to be had if he tries to spin this such that the hearing isn't the focus or he can convince a judge to put a protective order on the court documents and any further hearings.

If you're going to cause a shit show at the court, step it up to 11 so a guard fucking tazes you so I can at least have a consolation prize.

There's seriously nothing to be gained by approaching or purposely bothering Phil. He's shown for years, even back when he wasn't the most hated lolcow on the Internets, that he wants everyone to go away including his truest fans or most hated detractors. He'll just ignore you, and use you for his benefit if you take one step too far.

As always with cows, observe them from a distance and let them implode.

Counterpoint; Phil having a stroke on camera as some shitheel 'reporter' tries to shove a camera in his face paparazzi style is 100% worth Phil being able to cry, which he'll do anyways.

I don't advocate morons being idiots to other morons in public, but I will gladly consume that content.

See: Yaniv assaulting 'reporters'.

There's a difference between taking a picture/video of him trundling into the courthouse and rolling up to him TMZ-style to ask stupid ass questions. The former is no big deal. The latter will result in the person being mocked harder than Phil and deservedly so.

You're dumb. Go away.

I don't think you can have phones out in the court room anyways. Nick Rekieta confirmed as much with Null during their stream about the bankruptcy and the upcoming hearings.

I hope anyone who shows up contains their autism so DSP doesn't whine about a protective order or a motion to seal the records from the public and leave us with fucking nothing because they had to sperg about seeing their favorite lawlcow in person and shout memes at him as he walked into the court house.

That's what Dave said. Or would say to any autist exceptional enough to shove a cam in Dave's mug.

Lol no. He would piss his panties & tattle.

Which, yes hilarious, but not as uproarious as leaving him to his own devices & since I'm a loljunkie, of course I'm pushing for the best fix I can get. :lit:

You would think that someone trying to scam his way into Chapter 7 would throw the creditors a few bones. You stand to gain ~165k (125k of consumer credit and an estimated deficiency of 40k on the CT mortgage) so the least you can do is put something of value on the paperwork. His greed is so strong that he seriously wants to get through this bankruptcy without having to lose anything.

yep, and then we'll get him bragging about how well it went the next day. Who knows though, maybe he'll get in there and try to tell the trustee his life story or annoy them with other superfluous nonsense.

God no please god dammit don't anyone going there be a faggot & try to take pictures of him. In or out of the courthouse. If you make him able to zero in on an actual person who's there to cow-watch, he's not going to be shitting his panties quite as hard, thinking it's literally every human being within a 5-mile radius. And the more nervous & paranoid he is, the more erratically he'll behave.

Do not fuck this up for me. [Insert navy seals copypasta here].

Why not? I still haven't received a good answer as to why the fuck I should care what happens to Pee Pee Burnell. Oh, someone took a picture? Oh, his car exploded? Oh, he has Coronavirus? Sucks, I guess. *goes on with day*

He's a temporary source of laughter, nothing more.

You've repeatedly completely missed the point that if you ruin it so site users can't be entertained you'll mocked or worst case banned from the site. Nobody fucking told you to worry about what happens to DSP. Worry about what happens to you.

As much as I’d like to see Phil get called out after his 341, I hope that he is left alone. Like @actually said, there’s a certain tact and decorum that some internet autists fail to understand. This isn’t Phoenix Wright where the trustee jumps up screaming “objection!” It’s a basic question and answer session under oath. The BK judge isn’t present. 99% of the people present are other poor unfortunate souls. For the love of all things good, observe, laugh, and report (and then laugh some more).

if it's an open court, people are entirely within their rights to attend and shouldn't feel embarrassed about quietly sitting in the back and watching the arc unfold live. Also if they do that they're entitled to post about the experience here. It's possible they'd be able to type on their smart phones during proceedings also, essentially live tweeting it (it's allowed in my country at least and would be easy enough to find out).

Just remember it's not about Phil or his dramas - if you're going to the court you need to respect the court and the process. Being a tool to Phil in that setting is inappropriate. Unfortunately so is eating popcorn.

Whoever is planning on going, don't approach Phil or any of the parties, don't interfere or distract. quietly sit at the back and observe.

Nobody cares about Phil. What people would care about is some exceptional individual shoving a camera in Phil's face as he leaves court which leads to Phil complaining leading to any future document in the lawsuit that would be public now under a protective order. But if you'd rather have some 30 second unfunny video of Phil keeping his head down from some drama whore trying to cash in on this is worth that you do you.
