Dude... I didn't decide to change the word for whatever diabolical reasons you've imagined
I was just writing, and that word came to mind.

Anyway, yeah I guess there is a different nuance... one is a positive way to put it, the other negative
but they're still describing the same thing
The gap between the positive and the negative is pretty wide, isn't it?

In the end both of the words describe very different intentions...
Overcome for building onto yourself, and compensate for self-serving machiavellian lies

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oral_and_maxillofacial_surgery

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is surgery to treat many diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral (mouth) and Maxillofacial (jaws and face) region. It is an internationally recognized surgical specialty. In most countries around the world, including the United States, Canada and Australia, it is a recognized specialty of dentistry; in others, such as the UK, it is recognized as a medical specialty.

They also may choose to undergo further training in a 1 or 2 year subspecialty Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Fellowship Training in the following areas:

"Plastic" implies I will have plastic put in my face (like implants or fillers) which isn't case (actually my nose is getting filler, technically there's that).
Moving bones is corrective surgery, moving your own bones. It's cosmetic and functional, not plastic.

Can we beat you with bats to get the same effect? It will be cheaper.

From Wikipedia "Plastic Surgery":

"In the term plastic surgery, the adjective plastic denotes sculpting or reshaping, which is derived from the Greek πλαστική (τέχνη), plastikē (tekhnē), “the art of modelling” of malleable flesh.[4] This meaning in English is attested as early as 1598.[5] The surgical definition of "plastic" first appeared in 1839. It predates the modern "engineering material made from petroleum" sense of plastic (coined by Leo Baekeland in 1909) by seventy years.[6]"

You're very good at being wrong.

No it's called plastic surgery as in rhinoPLASTY it's because you're molding and shaping. Not all things that are "plastic" are "made of plastic" god I can tell this a "well researched surgery".

The other guy was having some well researched condoms up his nose but was telling me that it was already "PROVEN" safe but only anecdotally proven effective. Which is highly unlikely since the results are easy to measure. It would be easier to clinically prove it's effectiveness than to prove it's safety. Obviously he was lying to us or more likely he was lied to by a website made to hawk surgery to it's steady stream of incredibly insecure users and if they're not ready..... make them insecure until they cough up some money.

That doesn't disprove me?....

I still think plastic means implants and fillers not corrective surgery moving your bones.

Whatever, does it matter anyway? I need corrective surgery, just like people with underbites or overbites need it. Same thing.

If you guys reach page 400 you will ascend from your subhuman anti-compatible face symmetries to become Sexual Gods among men
Just do it within the next half hour so I can go to sleep please

No, he's actually right.
Plastic surgery does not involve cutting/moving the bones at all...

But arguing over terminology is pretty pointless and dare I say autistic

You're free to think whatever you want. Even if what you think is objectively incorrect.

Totally well researched.
I think the term "well researched" means well groomed by the advertising geniuses at sluthate.

You guys.. you post pictures like the posters inside the waiting areas of male hair salons and plastic surgeons offices. Literally not even /fit/ and gay porn sites post that shit with the same consistency that you guys do. You're swapping EFFECTIVE MARKETING MATERIAL

Technically the filler is considered plastic surgery I'll give you that. I did say that actually. But it's a VERY safe procedure, so who gives a shit?

So tell me, when did you last touch girl junk?
like a week ago
but she was probably doing it out of pity, like any other girl in my life

I also have a 2 inch dick, this didn't help much with her but she's great at faking orgasms
sometimes I wish I wasn't 5'5'' either, this would help me get with more girls too

also being 300 pounds probably doesn't help
