Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

So I saw SXSW trending on Twitter (probably for real) due to coronavirus, and I'm amazed I was only able to find one tweet that blamed Trump for SXSW's cancellation

"No comment from CNN." You work for CNN you fat idiot.
Well legacy cable news media aren't really the smartest of the bunch, aren't they? Their time is over anyway.

So if I'm going to read the news in this day and age then I'll just go online and read about the latest happenings, usually for free as well.

I mean, I'm all for the "never presume maliciousness when stupidity is an equally likely explanation" but does it apply here? Then again, you see some of these dipshits like the fags Donny Lemon-in-my-anus or Rachel Maddow talk and the blank stare, the absurd shit they say, you can tell they're 100% serious. I don't know what to believe.
As I said orginally, we are now at a point... So yes, I do believe they are currently that stupid. Can't speak for certain whether they were ever smarter than the average person in the past, but they are most certainly more stupid than average now.

Once upon a time journalists had to actually work their way up to reporter. Both doing the grunt work of the newspaper up to hustling local beats.

Such activities give one a wisdom about the world.

Then they invented the journalism degree and since then reporters have become that special kind of stupid that only academics can achieve.

no wonder why pixiv doesn't have a forum.
Pixiv doesn't have a forum because Japs don't give a rat fuck about web communities. Post on Pixiv, talk on 2ch.
(it does have comments sections though, and those are sometimes weird)

Pixiv is expanding beyond japan tho. The artist's country isn't always accurate. There are many non-Japanese artists who I found on Deviantart that also have a pixiv. It's only a matter of time before they recognize their global users.

I guess she might endorse Biden now.

What a dumbass :story::story::story:

It always has like three posters. All with a series of three reaction images.
Those are just the default set of reaction pics that Pixiv provides, I'm sure they would post meme responses if they could.
And it's three or so posters because Pixiv hides more by default. You have to click a show more link.

The virgin Deviantart vs. the chad Pixiv.

So while Deviantart is filled with cringy morons and censors artists, the chad Pixiv is much more artist friendly and lets artists express themselves as much they want; plus the Pixiv community is far more tolerable and some of the big Japanese artists that work in anime and manga go there too.

Honestly, I found that Japanese websites are a lot better than many of the trash communities in the west because they just don't care about politics that much and meanwhile here in the west we're stuck with trashy social media websites and communities that go apeshit over Donald Trump breathing.

It's times such as this where I miss the old days of the Internet long before people went apeshit over politics and stuff. Oh well.

Playing devil's advocate here, I can't fault Stelter for saying "no comment from CNN." Generally speaking, you shouldn't act like you're speaking on behalf of your employer unless you're specifically employed to do so. Companies want their PR department to handle public statements so that they can be sure they're getting the message that they want across with as little distortion as possible. It's why you see "views are my own, not my employer's" on the Twitter bio of pretty much anyone who's employed anywhere. Even if Stelter said "hey Trump suck a dick" here, he still wouldn't be speaking on behalf of CNN unless he was strictly given permission to do so, in which case he'd say so.

It's still funny though.

Btw, the folks over at TV Tropes still prefer any of the Democratic nominees over Trump:

"I'm not sure that "win in 2024 after four more years of Trump" is a viable option. We might not have much of a democracy left by then."

"In other news, Trump is suing the New York Times, Washington Post and CNN for opinion pieces. That's right, opinion pieces. Even though these lawsuits will go nowhere because of that factor (God, at least I hope they don't), this sets a dangerous precedent. This is literally out of the dictator playbook: Weaken the freedom of the press and prevent anybody from saying anything critical about him."

"Honestly I'm pretty contemptuous of anyone who tries to equate Biden with Trump. Biden has plenty of flaws and there are many valid reasons to dislike him, but this election is not about Biden, nor is it about getting everything you want, it's about using him to get rid of Trump. I feel like some people are taking it for granted that things can't get any worse than they are now if Trump was elected and that anything besides radical change is unacceptable to the point of making voting pointless if a candidate isn't promising that, which to me is a very naive POV that enables people like Trump to get elected and well, make things worse. And acting like Biden would be anywhere near as bad as Trump is very disingenuous."

"Trump says that he's cutting social security if re-elected to shrink national debt. The white house press secretary had to do damage control and say he's talking about cutting deficits, but given the hostility of republicans to social security programs, the republicans will do that with or without Trump's initiative. This is one thing Biden/Sanders needs to hammer Trump and the GOP on, especially given the corona virus outbreak this year."

"So I just had a "fun" time reading a piece positing that Warren lost because when compared to Sanders, Biden, and Trump she was the most insincere and dishonesty and voters recognized that. Yeah..." - "I honestly just feel pity for that writer. Being that divorced from reality speaks to something very wrong with that person." - "Literally anyone who say any of the big Democratic candidates is worse than Trump in any way is off their rocker."

(These next few are in regards to Trump naming a North Carolina representative as his new chief of staff)

"He's a politician who has gone above and beyond other Republicans in kissing Trump's ass from beginning to end. Virtually his entire campaign in his home state is reiterating how much Trump is the savior and what good friends they are."

"I can't imagine him being any worse than Mulvaney already is, so I consider getting him out of Congress a good thing."

"With Trump appointees, it can always get worse."

Christ, I'm so sick of these doomsaying cunts. Despite literally nothing to suggest it, they keep whipping themselves into a frenzy over how the evil bad orange man is going to declare himself dictator for life, activate the right-wing death squads, and round up the gays and the nonwhites and force them into camps (or shoot them on sight). You'd think that after three years of pretty much business as usual, they'd calm down at some point, but nope, their fantasies get ever more elaborate and deranged. Hell, I had my lefty friend I've mentioned before say to me tonight that he thinks Trump is going to declare emergency powers of some kind due to coronavirus and refuse to step down. I didn't know what to say except "lol calm down." This is just completely unhealthy behavior.

Also, fucking lol at that idiot not understanding why people thought Fauxcahontas was insincere. Oh gee, could it be the fact she lied about being an Indian so she could become a professor at Harvard? Trump may stretch the truth sometimes (though I don't think nearly as maliciously as the media pretends, often just exaggerating for effect or to get them to fall for the "discuss what you don't really want to" trap for the umpteenth time), but when she ran that DNA test and came out whiter than the average white person, she pretty much torpedoed her campaign. People aren't as dumb as lefties think they are. They remembered that whopper of a lie, and added to her shrill personality and wishy-washy answers on policy questions, it's no wonder she failed everywhere, even in her own state.

This proves my point of why a lot of social media and in this case online communities in the west just suck.

Now here is the thing. I sill think TV Tropes is a good website to discover themes and tropes about pop culture but sadly its community is garbage.

It's sad too because I learned a lot about pop culture from that website but too bad that the community is shit and there is a reason why they even have a thread on Kiwi Farms that features their dumb antics as well.

The absolute worst part is if Obama had done that in response to a bad Pandemic they would be frothing at the mouth to Kiss King Obama's boots.
