There were plenty back in the day, when community justice was exiling and driving out criminals into the wilds for nature to deal with. I can finally go around town and not feel that fear of seeing him. I don't have to get anxiety over whether or not he ends up working beside me at a new job, whether he'll be around that corner at the grocery store, whether he'll be in my sight at all.

Thank you to everyone who comforted me when I was having meltdowns like 10-11 pages back (I'm also sorry for the horrendous amount of powerleveling). I can't tell you how surreal it felt to read that he's being jailed once and for all.

What I’ve heard is that in some systems, the rule among the prisoners is that if you find out someone’s a chomo and you don’t do something about it (either by addressing the problem yourself or notifying others) you’re held liable as well. Most likely they dropped those charges for the plea deal, cause instead of just 25 years, he'd be looking at a much longer sentance if they kept those. Plea deal probably involved him ratting out his fellow sadists for the lesser sentence.

They'll find out. The other prisoners may demand he show his paperwork. If he refuses, they will get suspicious, and may have someone on the outside look it up. There've been several instances when COs outed chomos to other inmates. Im brief, he will not fly under the radar for long.
