It'll probably be a lot harder to map a chain because HIV/AIDS is spread through sex or dirty drug needles. The Coronavirus on the other hand is thriving at big gatherings, with the CPAC political conference among others being the most notorious recent example. Other big events such as SXSW or E3 are canceling to try to slow the spread.

There's plenty of other ways it can spread, from uber/lyft/taxi drivers who don't want to stop driving (or who carry infected victims, like the one in the UK) to the famous coughs and whatnot. It's spreading a lot easier than something like AIDS will, so instead of a chain expect people to maybe know which furries were infected...that is if they don't pull a CPAC and only tell specific people in the know who has it.

Furnal Equinox is going to be fascinating, we'll all have to keep our ears to the ground. From what I've seen they're going 'it's still going on, no refunds fuckheads'. Seeing if there's an outbreak in the community after will be really interesting. Or if people are smart enough to stay away.

Maybe after they set off a plague that hits the general population, we'll at last see public resolve for a final solution to the furry problem.

Okay, that is quite true with all. Its harder to track down who got the virus, just because of how easily you can spread when infected. But yet, the matter still is that furries are continuing their cons while not making second thoughts and going to give each other with COVID-19 without knowing.

I'm anticipated what will happen at /or after Furnal Equinox. I don't know if this convention has many attendees in general but something will happen. Can only say lucky it's not Eurofurence or Anthrocon right now...things could go even uglier.
