Ultimately, we take the world we have, not the one we want to have. Personally, I'm working off the premise that even I don't have the virus, it's best to treat it as though I do and just hunker down in my apartment until the symptoms are gone. If the best they can give me is "not the flu", then I ain't got much else to work with.
But yes, it's probably quite widespread at this point. Then any of this bickering about mortality rates and whatnot will be solved, and most everyone will be happy, I'm sure.

Arkansas got their first recently, as well. Provided that this Forrest County man (south MS for reference) does actually have it, this leaves Alabama as the only Southern state without its first reported case.
