Part of me thinks that the Democrats have been in Washington DC for so long that there brains have turned to mush due to there supposed "power" over the world, another part of me genuinely thinks that they've written off 2020 already and are using this election to forefully draw out and get rid of the stupidest parts of their party, liking cutting off an infected finger to save the body. That part genuinely think that someone will be whispering in Joe's ear soon about how good AOC would look as head of education for his inevitable presidency.

It is super serious, but I still think the thing is somewhat overblown. Sure we're not testing much, but the hospitals aren't overflowing.

If I poison 1000 people in my town with Arsenic on Monday, people start getting sick and going to the hospital on Tuesday, they get tested on Thursday and the results come back positive on Friday, the fact that testing didn't start until Thursday is irrelevant to people getting sick on Tuesday. If you're sick, you're sick, regardless of whether you had gotten a test or not. The sickness makes the disease, not the test.

Hospitals in the United States, to my knowledge, are not being overrun with people with respiratory issues. So is it really that important that we haven't tested them all?
