Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

I swear, these people act as though testing is the only answer.
I know right? My favorite youtube socialist has condemned Trump and capitalism for being a brittle system that can't coerce pharmaceutical companies to will test kits into existence.

South Korea testing 10,000 people a day, while the US only tests 5. Is that a good thing? What is the error rate on these tests? False positive / negative rate rate of 0.5% means 50 people a day get incorrect results. Get the result and it's negated by the time you walk out of the clinic and past a coofer. There's a reason why you should only be tested if there's probable cause of infection.

Well warmer weather is coming for one thing.
And America is far larger geographically and has a far more spread out population than Europe or China so that will help quite a bit.
COVID19 will probably just die down after a while and then start mingling with "wild" flu strains and mutating from there.
In that sense Corona will never truly go way but a cluster fuck on this scale is hopefully a one time thing.

Yeah, people who think that this is the end of the world need to remember that we faced pretty much the same scenario about 100 years ago, with the Spanish Flu.

Despite what Corona-chan did, Trump still put some pressure on Iran. https://www.americanthinker.com/blo..._uproar_trump_keeps_the_pressure_on_iran.html
Despite the coronavirus uproar, Trump keeps the pressure on IranBy Andrea Widburg
With coronavirus seemingly on top of everyone’s agenda, it’s easy to forget that the world continues to turn and other events take place. One of those events was an Iranian rocket attack in Iraq on Wednesday that killed two Americans and a British national. Iran’s top leadership may be falling like dominos to the coronavirus, but Iran’s theocracy is still vicious. The mullahs might have thought that, with the U.S. distracted by coronavirus, they could gain an advantage in Iraq. The mullahs thought wrong.
According to Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, head of U.S. forces in the Middle East, the attack on Wednesday was almost certainly the work of Kata’eb Hezbollah, the same group that stormed the American embassy in Iraq. That effort led to Trump ordering a targeted strike against Qasem Soleimani, one of the most dangerous and deadly terrorists in the world.
Once again, Trump responded forcefully to Iran's latest deadly attack. He ordered a counterstrike, which U.S. forces successfully carried out on Thursday:

It turns out that this was an exceptionally successful strike because the U.S. military managed to take out yet another senior Iranian military commander:

Generally speaking, things have not been going well for Iran lately. The mass graves that are now visible from outer space tell the story even if the government lies about the facts: lots of people are succumbing to coronavirus. Iran’s high death toll is the typical pattern we see in a society with socialized medicine, terrible pollution, heavy cigarette smoking, and a secretive government.

Ironically, Iran’s religious fundamentalism and the centrality of the 1979 revolution helped power the disease’s spread. Not only is the city of Qom the epidemic’s epicenter, it is also an important religious shrine and the city in which, during the 1960s, Ayatollah Khomeini began the journey that led to the Shah’s overthrow. Additionally, Qom has been a center for Chinese people studying in Iran.

The tests are very lengthy at the moment, so trying to test everyone in time is futile. The best people can do is have more restricted travel. I swear, these people act as though testing is the only answer.

I swear they think getting tested means getting vaccinated immediately and then you're in the clear, evil orange man is condemning them all to death by not testing everyone. same way they thought impeachment meant trump getting dragged out of the white house in chains and queen hillary beginning her reign immediately.
anyone bitching about tests thinking it will do anything for someone's health or fighting the virus needs to be beaten hard with a used testing kit at this point. the only personal effect it could possibly have is granting you several entitlements, but that's a bureaucratic matter.

Again, listening to Goldberg, this time he's talking with Ross Douthat and Ross is fair that Trump did good, shutting down travel. But then he goes to complain that the government wasted a month and the response has been slow.

Like, WTF do these people expect? For the government to start testing and then just shoot people in the street if it's positive? To quarantine whole states? Even this guy admits fighting this transmission is like fighting the wind.

I have an idea! Let's just kill all humans. That will stop the corona virus definitely.

Off topic but On Her Majesty's Secret Service is a great movie, and Lazenby is an underrated Bond. Tomorrow Never Dies is also a great movie, and is pretty relevant now when it comes to media control over the general consensus.
Lazenby was awesome. That's for sure in my top 2 or 3 Bond movies.
They literally went from freaking out over WWIII with Iran directly to this.

I think that pretty effectively sums up the situation for future historians, although stealing Starfleet's logo, covfefe, two scoops, feeding teenaged boys pizza and burgers (berders?), golfing, having a hot daughter, saying 'yuge', calling Jim Acosta a faggot, and many other smaller calamities could be added to flesh out just was a dire and crisis filled tyrannical world the pore anti-Trumpers live in during our times. Much literal shaking.

We live in an age of active, self-brainwashing.

Seeing Scott Adams get pissed off at anyone bringing up the flu to relate it to how much damage nu-flu could do has been a trip.

He’s mentioned he’s coming off medication that made him angrier than normal plus he hates China over his step son dying from Chinese fentanyl, and he’s pretty much been letting loose on his streams all that anger while dressing it up as him trying to be reasonable(about his unreasonableness)

What was HE saying a month ago?
Was going to look it up, but it's getting surprisingly hard to find people's archives nowadays. Needless to say, I don't recall hearing about diseases from either.

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but consider three scenarios:

  1. Trump tells everyone what to do, they do it, things go wrong. There's a single point of blame, and it's easy to criticize.
  2. Trump lets the state/local authorities handle things, and everyone gets it wrong. Everyone is to blame, plus you can blame Trump for not centralizing a response.
  3. Trump lets the state/local authorities handle things; some places get it wrong, but other places manage it correctly. Now you have clear losers and winners, but the biggest risk is in the large cities, which are run by Democrats, who will catch a lot of individual blame.
I think option 3 is what they're worried about. If TX and CA both have outbreaks, but TX handles it better, then there's a clear difference in competency between Republican and Democratic states.

There's no outcome that would force them to praise Trump, because goalposts will always be moved and counter-factual speculation is sketchy. But multiple simultaneous responses allow for a direct comparison between successful and failed responses. You can prove that a governor/mayor had better options available when other governors/mayors are trying them out.

Leftists like Bloomberg spent a good chunk of time trying to capture state level offices to force through their agenda, and they succeeded in places like Virginia. Having those newly installed Democrats get shown up as failures is a legit setback for them.

(Edit: Scenario #2 also runs the risk of local Democrats looking bad, while giving Trump scapegoats for failure. Only scenario #1 guarantees Trump gets all the blame, which is why they're trying to push him into it.)
You don't think our government is that foolish or diabolical to actually go through with that? Right? RIGHT?

I swear, this whole Corona Virus fiasco along with Trump is driving me up the walls. Everybody's either freaking out, blaming the US, making racist comments or just not taking ANY precaution.

Okay, let's say both scenarios are true.

Why would the first thing that a news station would say about a virus is a ploy to "impeach the president?" Never mind that people's health and lives could be at stake, but let's make it so Trump is most affected by it. We need those votes no matter WHAT! I swear news media boomers are so clingy with this man.

And the second one. He's mad about this pandemic being called the "Chinese virus" or "Wuhan virus?" It originated FROM China with a massive quarantine, of course it's going to be referred as such. How is that racist? I wonder how he feels about China blaming the US for this outbreak, even though it started in Wuhan.

Not to mention the dozens of atrocities that the Chinese government has committed on its citizens over the past couple decades to say the least.

Maybe instead of listening to media hype beyond statistics, how about you practice common hygiene sense?

It's just the agreed upon talking point they're all pushing. Even the Jews are using it as bait:
