Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

Homeless person checks into plague motel, then leaves, shoplifts from a nearby convenience store and gets on a bus. King County now has effectively banned homeless from their quarantine sites.

People who've used leaves, report they're far inferior to toilet paper. It's not the 'softness' but the texture. Like why newspaper is preferable to glossy mags. Smooth surfaces just spread everything around worse and leave you dirtier. They will take my TP from my cold, dead hands.
Use ferns maybe? If they're even available.

Chinese bastards stole all our PPE gear so Kangz in Memphis are taking matters into their own hands and making hazmat suits out of plastic bags. I know that bags won't do shit, but I'm still salty about the NYC plastic bag ban that went into effect this month. I'm over here with my ass flapping in the wind. At least the folks in Memphis have free bags.
Bag like that makes it worse, captures air and pushes it along the body. Any airborne particles will be trapped and have multiple opportunities to expose the victim.

Airtight or not right.

Oh no, she has to wait in line like an unimportant regular person, poor baby!

I had a stray thought: What if the reason people were in so much of a panic because we live in an age where the internet lies in our fingertips and thus, it's easy to get lost on what is true and what isn't? The same thing almost happened with Ebola, everyone either didn't bat an eye, stayed cautious, or lived in blissful ignorance when it popped up in Africa, was about to panic when it hit US, then saw how it spreaded, people went "lol what stupid person will touch blood", and it died off. Corona popped up, and people panicked from the spread, further spreading it in turn because they were given the wrong thing, and leading to a lot of people learning supplies are running out, and it leads to endless waves of supplies dying off after restocks and so on. Meanwhile, there was a fair amount of people who lived in blissful ignorance when SARS and past diseases hit. When told, they go, "Wait, that happened?"

I'm probably rambling and this would most likely be buried under pages, but I just wanted to post a thought of mines.
stock market crashing, half of china's population in lockdown, india stops exporting medicine, italy closes down completely. even if the plague didn't hit the US it would still see a major impact. shits bad enough without the disease but with it you have a deadly plague and a crumbling global society, not a good thing.

Being part native myself, I can't fathom why there are so many of them who think vote blue no matter who, is all of a sudden going to turn things around and save the day. It is mind boggling to me considering anyone who doesn't toe the line or voted for Trump is treated like a fake natives or haters. With the current pandemic I doubt a democrat president would have made much of a difference preparing the populace for anything.

If you want further proof of that, just look at how Obama's administration handled everything that went on at Standing Rock. For a short while I thought we were going to have another Wounded Knee.

Crab bucket mentality.
