Chuck Huber confuses the hell out of me. Leaking his own divorce docs and posting cryptic tweets on Twitter. Is he trying to muddy the waters? Is he angry? I say this way too much with far too many people involved in this shitshow - these people are broken and all too often terrible people.
At some point Chuck saw the environment/professional landscape at FUNi and the industry at large as toxic and/or abusive, with all the power being held by a small, petty, vindictive clique (Sabat specifically). This was exposed with the ousting of Mignogna. TO HIS CREDIT, Chuck risked a lot of speak up about it. I can almost understand his anger/frustration he must have for the outcome of the TCPA.
Here's my problem: while he did risk a lot to do what he did, he's worlds away from the damage inflicted upon Vic's life by people Chuck seems to still consider his friends. Vic's career was annihilated; yet, Chuck consistently displays a clear lack of consideration/empathy for Vic's situation, including badgering him over a bad hearing with Judge Chupp. For which Vic had no control over ... my speculation: he thinks that Vic owes him in some way, which makes for a really shitty friend. Had I been in his shoes, I would have at least understood that this decision would lead to burning some bridges. If he believed Vic was wronged and was innocent of what the FUNi crew/lynch mob was accusing him, then he should have stuck with his guns. Not base his allegiance on who he perceives is winning.
I can't articulate how much this specific behavior disgusts me.

Edit 2: All this on top of his settlement attempts (for which none of the parties asked for, as far as we know) where he tried to get Vic, his supposed friend, to publicly state he was a sex addict. I honestly would keep this dude at arm's length.

I mean, the big gotcha is that Ape posted a picture of a facebook conversation where the picture taker was logged in as Cressidia Holmes.
I'm not shaking my head because a Kiwi got doxed, I'm shaking my head because the "dox" was lazy and leaped logic in a single bound.
This is almost as bad as claiming Emspex was Emily Spexarth on twitter because they were both called Emspex.

Interesting. So Svetlana disagreed with my post suggesting Chuck thinks he's helping Vic. I wonder if she knows something, or she's just being negative toward Chuck because of him ranting at Vic over the TCPA fail. She would be in a position to know what Huber's doing behind the screen, so the former is possible...

Well, tbh, I can't see how leaking your own divorce docs in a Princess-Tinkle-Panties-Level exceptional way is doing Vic any favors. Nick suggested that Chuck was the one who leaked them to someone he presumes is Shane (LawArchive).
Edit: All he's succeeded in doing is throwing gas on the social media side (in addition to his weird passive-aggressive cryptic tweet). Which runs contrary to his previous goal of healing the community/calming everything down. Strangely, every time he jumps into the controversy online, he inflicts more damage to himself and just gives people more ammo with which to shoot at Vic. I sincerely hope it's just because he's stupid and not because he's being malicious.
Given how these people generally operate, I'm starting to lean towards Chuck being just as shitty.

Sure, so @Immaculate Ape somehow managed to grab a screenshot of a PM by Cressidia Holmes while illegally using its login info? That's a bold strategy. I hope the real Cressidia presses charges, since unlike just gathering publically posted info, that would be clearly a violation of privacy and therefore not "legal" as you guys always dance around chanting when it comes to doxing.
ETA: Unless there is a public post of the troon posting the PM on social media anyways

I agree, I can't see how it helps Vic at all. I was just assuming that in Huber's weird little mind he was doing something that would mutually benefit himself and Vic. I mostly assume Chuck is doing what he thinks is in Vic's best interests, he's just...dumb. But if Svetlana thinks differently, she's likely right.

Again, this isn't really about if Ape doxed himself or not. If Zedkissed rolls up with good info and confirms that Ape is indeed an undercover tranny who has shitty opsec and thus doxed himself, I'll laugh along with the next person. But I need more than a single screenshot that has a reasonable explanation in the contrary. We'll laugh at half-assed doxers, and this wasn't even quarter-assed.

it isn't dancing and chanting, it's facts. Doxing consists of posting publically available information obtained through various legal means, like looking up a facebook profile or a linkedin, and weeding through pictures for info. autistic? perhaps. illegal? no and any court in the US will tell you that (dont give a fuck beyond that since i am a proud citizen and other countries anti-freedom laws can kiss my ass).

Though that might be a possible option, I'm more inclined to believe the fucker who faildoxed the Yost twins also has shitty opsec on their own identity. But to each his own.

I think I understand what they think is the gotcha, they think that somehow, either An Lee Su or Ty blackmailed Chuck using his divorce case to make him give the affidavit.
How the fuck did they get to such conclusion is beyond me because I don't have enough cough syrup to get to their cognitive levels, but considering their language that might be their supposed gotcha.
Edit, I must make emphasis on the might, trying to make sense of the stupidity of KickVic is not easy, nor is it something one can approach logically, batteries existing on the 200BC makes more sense than KV will ever do.

What I get from it is that for all their posturing that Chuck's affidavit means nothing, only confirms Vic Is Bad, and doesn't prove anything at all, they're utterly terrified by that thing. The only affiant they've come after harder is Slatosch, and that's because his affidavit is Liar Liar levels of "Your Honor, that DESTROYS my case!"

It's less plausible when you look at their posting history. Two weeks after joining the site, Immaculate Ape posted a screen shot from Facebook that was taken by Cressidia Holmes. You can see their avatar in the bottom right.
Less than two weeks after joining, Immaculate Ape posted a screen shot of someone replying to Crumbreon @DarksideEevee at 12:21 PM PST. It was archived at 19:25:53 UTC (12:25:53 PST) and posted to the Farms at 12:30 PM. Short turn around time for a liaison.
