National lockdowns are going to be a reality very soon, but you still have a chance to buy a gift for that special someone 💕

I don't have a problem with him addressing it, but that's the only fucking thing he talked about. Google, Kroger, the Fed. I wanna hear about ventilators, PPE gear production. Not the continued profits of his corporate jizzsmoker buddies.
Maybe because the actual danger to anyone who isn't already half dead is freaked out retards smashing into somebodies house and bashing their brains in for toilet paper.

So right now that's a 3% positive test rate and a 2.5% death rate. I've got no plausible way to extrapolate the population infection/death rate so I won't try.

Italy is showing a 7% death rate, there is currently no reason not to assume the UK's own branch of this will be similar.

I'm not sure if rates are slowing slightly due to different methodology used now as they're only testing patients already in hospital.

The "presumed" figure was 10-15,000 country-wide who will only show moderate flu symptoms and shake it off.

Canada update. 324 confirmed cases today.

Trudeau is now saying that closing the borders is an "option". The government is also encouraging those who are out of the country to come home now.

Schools, movie theaters, bars, gyms and libraries are either closed, closing or being encouraged to close across the nation. Via rail service is cutting down train services by 50% from Quebec to Ontario.

Hospitals in Ontario are being asked to scale down elective surgeries to preserve capacity.

Wow. What a fucking racist cunt. Why does Trudeau hate the Chinese? LOL

Bay Area Rapid Transit (the train system in the SF Bay Area, where there are currently 236 cases of COVID-19, which is apparently over 50% of cases in California) tweeted out an idea.

These faggots can't even build a building correctly without having to shut it down half a year later. I imagine the inside of those straps will somehow be made of pure potassium and explode in your washer.

Wow, look at all those amazing re

I'm not sure about any of this. This morning the Johns Hopkins site wasn't updating for a while. Finally working. But something I noticed.
Amazing recovery rates...

It's 'X', right? That's what you press in this situation?

No, you press the BULLSHIT button. Once again, the Chinese lie. Must be pathological. My guess...all Chinese numbers are off by a factor of 3 to 5. Would say people in Washington and certain other world capitals know the actual Chinese numbers, or very close to it.

There's not much point suspending inbound flights, but as a courtesy he should definitely cancel all outbound flights for China. They went to a lot of trouble and expense to contain the virus. They don't need Canada carelessly re-infecting them again.

Canadian here, was following this thread at the beginning but I'm not even skimming 600+ fucking pages. Anyway our country finally got the fucking memo and people are starting to sperg out, thanks to you autists I hit up Costco like a month ago so I don't have to deal with the nonsense. Anyway I figured it's about time I dressed up my avatar in some hazmat gear and wanted to share the exploitable for anyone else who wants to do the same:

Day's over, so I can post my usual lazy summary and go away. With another 1000 or so samples tested, Poland stands at 125 total cases for a daily gain of 21... Which means fifteen fewer confirmed cases than yesterday. Interesting, perhaps encouraging, but meaningless on its own. I remember other countries having slower days then spiking again.

It was a very quiet day here. The Internet is full of reports and photos depicting empty places that would normally be crowded: vacant main streets, plazas, shopping centres. People are taking this seriously. I was on a short walk. A few people walking their dogs, going out with their kids, several children playing football, all very sparse. And almost no traffic.

I hear the Czechs are imposing nationwide quarantine: you can go to work and back, visit a doctor, do some small shopping, maybe visit close family and that's it. Wonder if we're about to do the same... I've heard politicians mentioning that there will be more preventive measures later on, without specifying what exactly. Not much else left though.

cheers, appreciate the thoughts! I’m Ok, I’m sure it’s just another bloody cough, this year has been shit for them.
On the off chance this is it, so far it’s gone:
Very high fever and sweating one night, and tingling in limbs, gone in the late morning, followed by a gradual onset of shortness of breath and a dry unpleasant cough. Palpitations, low fever which fluctuates and fatigue. Same as any chest bug except the palpitations, which are unpleasant. I can tell I’m fighting something off but I’m Ok as long as I don’t exert myself. Husband has same symptoms, kids have a minor cough. This is day 3. We are staying away from everyone as per local guidelines. Probably just a cold.
OMG you too? The heart palpitations at night are freaking me out! I have all of that, not getting better since last week but not that much worse. My fever is low/gone though.

"Free testing for all Americans, even those uninsured"

Now the game begins to find out what people will find to complain about next with regard to Trump's actions.

Edit:

I like how detractors are trying to paint this as the AIDS 2: Electric Boogaloo, where an evil Republican is allowing it to spread.

If Donald Trump singlehandedly developed an absolute cure for the WuFlu, you can bet there would be people bitching and complaining.

What the fuck. Man's doing his best. Doing far better than most. Believe the world is watching to see how we get through this.

If people REALLY want to complain, complain about Emperor Xi and China. They invented the virus, they let it loose, they've treated their innocent people like animals and criminals, and they do their very best to deny the truth and propagate lies. Well, Xi and his running dogs have lost that propaganda war, mercifully.

Ever notice that those who bitch and complain the most never do anything to make things better? All they have is their one brain cell and a big fucking mouth.
