For those in America, watch out for West Virginia. It will serve as a prime example of spread rates where there is "apparently" just 1 case, and the Gov has opted to close all schools, bars and etc. for precautions.

Breathing respirator is now triggered, said they will no longer provide 3D models, wants them to stop, and said they will seek legal revenge, sue them for breach of intellectual property.
Fuck your IP and your overpriced stupid $11,000 plastic shit.
So something is lost in translation, the two guys asked for blueprints which the company told them to go fuck themselves, and they measured the valve anyway to create replicas.
Volunteers produce 3D-printed valves for life-saving coronavirus treatments
The 3D printed valves have saved 10 patients so far.
$11,000 for this.
No wonder jobs are going to China and now SEAnigs/Poos.
I do actually think 3D printing is the future and should become a part of most households. It's also better than Asian slaves and shitty plastics.

The EU is recommending stopping non-essential travel into the EU and the response from some is to worry about it stopping the hoard of undocumented migrants currently trying to get into the EU from Turkey or across the Mediterranean sea. They have been nervous about this happening for a while and the political strawman used in Sweden to oppose restrictions of non-essential travel continues to be "but what about medical supplies".

Well.....some dumb nigger I live with has almost certainly got it and I found out today someone I work with has reported in that she has it....and ive had a headache and a cough for 24 hours now so im officially going into isolation for the coming fortnight.
I have a literal bathtubs worth of home fermented kefir in the fridge, a tonne of homemade yoghurt, and several half gallon jars of the dankest kimchi this side of pyongyang, not to mention a fucktunne of frozen greens and broccoli and spinach, a literal sack full of onions, garlic, and ginger, literally one thousand green tea bags.
And frogurt. Lots of fuckin frogurt.
If I really have got the bat-aids, then im going full stalingrad on its ass.

So my younger brother just found out that all his roommates were fired and no way in hell are they making rent. (All his roommates are in non grocery retail/hotel work)
I'm going to loan him the money to cover him for the month and then let him use my guest bedroom until shit blows over. (He only just moved out and doesn't have much physical possessions yet so it'll be easy for him to pack and go.)
This is just a small little anecdote coming from me personally, but don't be suprised if the situation gets a lot more common when most rents come due April 1. We could be looking at a massive amount of displaced people.
