Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

Ya Boi snuck this one out and fast. He put this idea together roughly 2 days ago, that cover wasn't even colored in the video when he launched the campaign. And I'm honestly not sure how well this one is going to work because he's getting fairly experimental in this. It's about a newly unemployed girl named Clarissa who learns some dark secrets during the quarantine and is gonna be written as the current situation develops and he will change up the story based on the news that drops.

@Smug Freiza Another accurate recount of the stream.

Yea. With EVS demanding to come on. We offered a couple episodes back for him to come on and talk (we have screenshots if people would like to see), but he said that he was busy. Then later talking to Ralph on Twitter he said he would go on The Killstream (I thought you were busy?).If he would of availed himself of scheduling. He could of been on THIS episode.

Not sure why these people think that they can come in and demand to come on the show? We have a show planned out and like to stick to it and we prefer to have a list of questions to lay out to make sure we have all our bases covered if we plan to talk to someone directly. Notice how distracting to the show it was when we brought Tonka in on the second episode. It fucked up the flow of the show.

I think that the purpose of wanting to demand to get on is an ego boost that he can demand something and it's clear we are foggy about some things and he see's it as an opportunity to bullshit us. So later when we find some new info that contradicts what he said to us... EVS will complain that we are trying to start shit after we "resolved" or "answered" the situation.

*A free for all has broken out in chat. Donga and his viewers VS Andy, Geek and their viewers VS Comicsgate and Warcampaign VS Anti-CG and people who just think Comicsgate is dumb.
Ethan showed up on Donga's "Redman Radio" show earlier today over their mutual enemies in Warski and Quartering. Highlight was some friend of Donga's showing up to pitch his underground comic with some unshown sample art of a hairy, veiny penis-resembling man taking a shit on a toilet and Ethan's review that he "needed to learn what line weights are" but offered the fellow that "it could go on Mandy Summers' stream"

The comments and dislikes tell the story. The odd thing is that you generally don't get the impression that these people are going into Doug's videos or livestreams hitting the dislikes or leaving negative comments, but they don't seem to have a problem going to Nick's videos and streams to do that, well, that is, when Nick is essentially backing Doug.

Edit : Oh wow...more dislikes on Nick's video compared to Andy's...way to freaking go you CG spergs.

Starting to think EVS is really afraid about what kind of dirt you're gonna dump on him and CG next. He cares an awful lot about what you and Andy have to say. Get back to drawing frog books old man, people didn't dump money on you to bitch about getting on streams

And yeah sure, dump the screencaps if you got them

Dang, I was supposed to include that above. I personally like the look of it, I'm a sucker for "corporate, globalist, conspiracy" stories, I couldn't help but notice the book isn't colored though. Still this is the best price offered from our boy yet, so I'll probably end up backing it.

Can't be worse than Iron Sights...

Agreed. He basically did this during his confrontation with Tim Lim, Brett R Smith, Capn Cummings and Doug Ernst. Played innocent and used wishwashy words to dance around the issues without it ever being resolved. When trouble broke out again later he played the victim claiming "I thought we'd already resolved this." Definitely get your facts in order, keep your receipts and maybe talk to some people who are really in the know about CG's inner workings. I'd suggest speaking to Jon Del Arroz, Doug T, Tim Lim, Edwin Boyette and Mike S Miller at some point, they'd probably know more than anyone.

Ouch.

I honestly thought it would be Zack, TUG or Yellowflash who became the next boogeyman for CG to exile. Looks like Nick Rekieta is buying them all some time while he jumps in front of it for them.

I think he's more afraid of the negative exposure than simply whatever Andy and Geek has to say since there really isn't much they'll be to able to bring forward that hasn't been brought forward, or put another way, hasn't been brought forward by someone that is more notable.

On a whole other note, this CG dogpiling is truly a sight to behold. How is no one bothered at the fact that you have so many prominent CG members (i.e. EVS, Sweetcast, TUG, Ben Henderson and who knows how many WC spergs) suddenly come out of the woodwork to bitch and moan about a stream from the exceptional phoenix himself? What a coincidence (which is funny considering Dame was supposedly there too if @Smug Freiza is correct).

Edit : I disagree on getting Andy and Geek to reach out to Doug Tennapel. Not now anyway. I doubt he wants to talk about the CG crap anyway but maybe JDA or Miller might be interested and have the time. I'd rather see Doug talk to Dick or Nick about it to be quite frank.

Wait is Trailblazer supposed to be a Native American? She's drawn like she might be... If so shouldn't that name be considered SUPER insensitive racist? Someone who makes new tracks through wild country, the trail of tears, tears (water) is the opposite of a blaze (fire), combined it makes firewater.

We were all wrong. The joke of a cast, descriptors and design is because Marvel is going full shitlord with this book.
Anyways, let's continue to shit out better ideas for this for the New Warriors:
Trailblazer: An awful childhood you've described that was filled with running away from problems and depression eating. Something happened when she hit puberty, now she is quick on her feet and it's directly tied to her metabolism, the faster she goes the thinner she gets and the more dangerous it becomes. Now she over eats in order to have a backup supply of power for when it's really needed.

Play off the fat guy who's light on his feet trope, character really overeats and balloons up gags. Remove the stupid bag of holding and burger king kids club helping out at the seniors home from Marvel description.

Stonewall: Mental block due to growing up bigger and stronger than other kids, has always been delicate and careful as he's afraid to use his full strength incase of seriously causing harm.

gentle giant trope, remove stereotypical jock from Marvel description

Someone asked in the comments and he said the whole book will be colored

I honestly thought it would be Zack, TUG or Yellowflash who became the next boogeyman for CG to exile. Looks like Nick Rekieta is buying them all some time while he jumps in front of it for them.
I could see YF getting targeted next since he refuses to get engaged in the current drama and just the right amount of relevance that people won't shrug it off, but the second someone in CG makes a honest attack on Zack to kick him out, that group is dead. He stays out of trouble and is too much of a figurehead to go after without a really damn good reason. And good luck getting that on a guy who tapped out on the shitflinging.

On a whole other note, this CG dogpiling is truly a sight to behold. I used to be a fairly big CG supporter, but after experiencing all the exceptionalism these past few months, my interest in supporting these guys has dropped to zero barring guys like Zack who actually know how to stop engaging in the drama. Now I'm just waiting for something stupid enough to happen that the group can't possibly ignore the damage of.

Kinda where I sit right now. The movement has turned into a spergfest on both sides and it really becomes unappealing when all you do is just sit around and talk about how the other guy is so mean and this guy is making up lies, but the other is making up lies, and there are secret conversations behind DMs and someone had tweets from back in the day. The fact they are making Geek and Andy look good in comparison, and showing up on Tonka streams is a fucking lose.

Downvoting Nick streams just for looking at Doug but acting insane when Doug fans do it to Ethan and co.

Just fuck off and do work, talk about your book, talk about new books, shit on the dumb ideas MARVEL and DC come up with, just stop giving a shit what a little guy like Mike is doing, or Doug, or Preston fucking Poulter.

Someone who makes new tracks through wild country, the trail of tears, tears (water) is the opposite of a blaze (fire), combined it makes firewater.
They aren't even using the actual meaning of the word correctly. They call her trailblazer then say it's because she is always the first to run into battle and help. She isn't setting new ground with that, most heroes do this. So why not call her something to do with her backpack since... You know, that's her only source of power. Also, apparently this story kicks off with her working at her old folk's home and it getting raided by clearly D- grade villains that worry about old people. Thrasher shows up and takes them out but she helps. Is that considered vigilante justice, or just self-defense? Legitimately curious.

Also, they draw her nose like they draw Ms. Marvel's so maybe they're doing another Paki? I don't think they care enough about actual minority and marginalized people.

I respect you coming around on the Doug hysteria you started, but you only have her side of the story because you're choosing to stay in Martina's simp bubble/safespace/echochamber. The other guys' side of the story is very much out there and well documented at this point. Here's the most succinct summation of the whole feud that I can find. Go read the email they sent in reply to her firing them. They offered her an olive branch and she doused it in gasoline. Why? And how do you as a supporter of Martina justify it? I'm genuinely curious.

Very opportunistic. He doesn't even remember his own advice. Pulido has a couple of things people like. Stick to those. Jawbreakers and Ironsights. This could spin south bad if things actually get worse.

"Played innocent" of what, exactly? These retards accuse me of the most bizarre things without any proof, and when called out, they just resort to calling me fat and ugly.

I am completely innocent and have nothing to hide. That's why I say "SEND THE LINK."

And the more spergs like GeekThulu and Andy Warski stumble around in public accusing me of murder and wifebeating, the more people realize that this is a psychotic internet disorder, and the more money I make.

By all means, bring Del Arroz, TenNapel, Tim "The Glove" Lim, Edwin Boyette and Mike Miller into this. Everyone witnessed each of these characters and what they did. I'll laugh, and continue to ask to come onto the show.

SEND THE LINK.

While Geek and Andy look frightened and DON'T send the link, further making them look like the shady internet weirdos they are. I can't believe the internet will live to see Tonka vindicated...Holy shit. lol

Haha holy shit, he IS mimicking Sargon of Akkad's mental trajectory with this sort of shit. Because Carl used to do the EXACT same shit when it came to podcasts who had him in the topics but not as a main focus. The only difference is he does the order in reverse, Being shleepy first and then wide eyed awake.

He still does the wanting to barge in shit for the same reasons tho; to try and offset you since you weren't really planning on talking about him as a major point. He also does the same weaselling between saying his capos are fans and yet are also partners, blithely ignoring things that ties him to their gay ops.

Seriously, tribalists can deny all they want, but I've seen this exact type of patterning before; it was called Gamergate and the Kraut autismbomb.
Very opportunistic. He doesn't even remember his own advice. Pulido has a couple of things people like. Stick to those. Jawbreakers and Ironsights. This could spin south bad if things actually get worse.
Eesh, might be his worst idea and looks like he forgot that comics are a way to escape reality, not force it down your throats. Also not a fan of the ambiguous writing as you go thing, since that and it being way too topical will age it like juice left out in the hot Florida sun.

There are few winners or good guys on either side of any of these conflicts. What is it about comic books that attracts the dumbest, most impulsive people? Is it because they're stories centered around the virtues of might and authority? Is it because there aren't too many words? Fredreic Wertham was right.

Just fuck off and do work, talk about your book, talk about new books, shit on the dumb ideas MARVEL and DC come up with, just stop giving a shit what a little guy like Mike is doing, or Doug, or Preston fucking Poulter.

This is exactly how I feel about the whole situation. Do you books and make your money. Don't lie and don't misrepresent what you are doing this for. One side of Ethan's mouth is saying "THIS IS ABOUT THE CULTURE WAR!!!" and then the other is "I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE POLITICS I'M JUST MAKING COMICS ABOUT A FROG AND JUST WANT TO MAKE MONEY!!!!!!!". Which is it? You can do both, but you can't try to actively sideline those that he thinks is "damaging" to Comicsgate over political, social or religious reasons. THAT is what Marvel and DC are doing and the impetus for Comicsgate.

If you don't agree with someone's political or social beliefs. Just don't work with them. SURELY don't try to trash them and then try to affect their ability to make money ESPECIALLY IF their content isn't really political or social.

"Played innocent" of what, exactly? These exceptional individuals accuse me of the most bizarre things without any proof, and when called out, they just resort to calling me fat and ugly.

We gave you an opportunity to schedule a time to come on, but you said you were busy. You don't get to dictate when YOU can come on OUR show. We have a schedule and plan out the information on the stream. You could of been on yesterday's episode IF YOU had actually scheduled it with Adolwulf when he was DMing you. Your response to him was, "No, I'm busy". Go throw your temper tantrum to people that actually think you are hot shit and will cuck to your crying. We won't. You are just another sperg on the internet to me. Grifting people out of their money by use of their political outrage.

It depends on how tone deaf Kibblesmith really is. Perhaps he wants to reclaim the legacy of Sacajawea as the true and brave trailblazer of the Louis and Clark Expedition. Or, maybe he thinks that with enough hip wokeness he can reclaim the Trail of Tears?

Issue 2: ScreenTime is alerted to an alleged Teen Vigilante being attacked by police! Introducing Bataan, a demisapiosexual otherkin Filipino-American with the power to make people walk until they drop from exhaustion (Only White Male American people, because it would be racist to affect anyone else.) But don't worry for them, they'll revive immediately once they recognize their privilege, because: Power of Love.

Issue 3: The team needs more firepower against the Climate Change-created ecomonster rampaging through State Capital. What will they do when they learn that Kamala's Law requires the under-21 soldiers in the National Guard to stay in their barracks? (Bucky's Amendment)

Issue 4: Left unsolicited because Those Responsible have become too ill to continue. Not from coronavirus - it requires contact with actual people to be transmitted - but from the limited availability of out-of-season avocados for toast. The Struggle is Real!

Maybe CG needs something of a reset. As hard as it is (and believe me, I hold grudges like none other), just bury all the hatchets and let things slide. I know people think they've been stabbed in the back by friends and they probably have, but if the movement is to have any long-term legs, it needs all the talent it can muster when going against the entrenched and well-funded juggernauts of the industry.

Everyone in DC and Marvel are probably throwing never-ending parties with all this fracturing that's occurring. And that New Warriors atrocity proves that Marvel, at least, has no intention of abandoning its current path of chasing phantom SJW approval and wealth.

I'm about as big of an outsider as you can get, as I've only bought the first Jawbreakers, so take this as you will.

Wait, I though Trailblazer was an illegal immigrant that got bit by a radioactive SUV? It would explain her large capacity and traction in the mud.

Anyways, let's continue to shit out better ideas for this for the New Warriors:

Keep Trailblazer, she's precious, but they need to flesh out her SUV powers more. They also need to age her up and give her more of a supportive mother-figure role to the group. Keep her off the front lines.

Here's the skinny, they are all orphans:

  • Chill-Axe: a Scandinavian berserker with a frost giant for a mother, able to make any martial weapon from ice. Has a chip on her shoulder about her mom ditching her at an orphanage. Might be able to use Norse magic. Acts cold to others, but secretly treasures her friends.
  • Hi-Roller: her cheerful self-appointed brother with the ability to transform into three wheel-like constructs. Has a penchant for risky maneuvers, hi-risk, high reward. The fastest member of the team. Wants to use their powers for personal fame, and to forget about his impoverished upbringing at the orphanage. Might be a member of an alien race, as he doesn't register on the mutant index. Somewhat vain, but his uplifting nature balances out Chill-Axe's broodiness and Solid State's seriousness. He can sometimes be insensitive to others when trying to lighten the mood. His powers allow him to make his construct forms hollow to transport the other three, but they've got nothing to hold onto in there and rattle around like crazy.
  • Solid State: his ability to draw power from the electric fields that resonate from technology give him a localized form of Technokinesis. Causing deadly discharges of electricity, or temporarily altering magnetic fields to artificially increase or decrease his own density to trade between durability or flight. Easily the most powerful member on the team, but his power diminishes greatly while outside of urban areas. Also happens to be a patriot that often clashes with the other team-mates when he feels their vigilantism becomes too self-serving. Views Chiro as a younger brother and is overprotective of him. Solid State may be a mutant, but his constant proximity to Chiro has rendered his personal bio electric field undetectable to the Cerebros of the Extremist X-men
  • Chiro: Chiro goes by the name his fellow morlocks gave him when left at the orphanage, which was simply a shortened form of Chiroptera. A mutant with a vampire-like appearance, Chiro has a complex about how frightening he is to others. His mutant physiology gives him natural abilities higher than the human average. His passive psychic abilities project a null field, which has so far kept him off of the Extremist X-men's radar. When concentrating strongly he is able to confuse another's senses for a moment. He can read the emotional states of others, including directed aggresion, giving him the ability to avoid the line of an enemy's attack. Chiro has been friends with Solid State for as long as he can remember. Hi-Roller called him a Psy-vampire once and he sulked in the corner for a week before finally accepting an apology.
Hehe, this is kind of fun, reminds me of when i use to make up my own Megaman villains. Why are comic-book people all so miserable?
