Maybe CG needs something of a reset. As hard as it is (and believe me, I hold grudges like none other), just bury all the hatchets and let things slide. I know people think they've been stabbed in the back by friends and they probably have, but if the movement is to have any long-term legs, it needs all the talent it can muster when going against the entrenched and well-funded juggernauts of the industry.

Everyone in DC and Marvel are probably throwing never-ending parties with all this fracturing that's occurring. And that New Warriors atrocity proves that Marvel, at least, has no intention of abandoning its current path of chasing phantom SJW approval and wealth.

I'm about as big of an outsider as you can get, as I've only bought the first Jawbreakers, so take this as you will.

It's not a movement anymore. It is simply EVS' brand.

I'm so sick and tired of these "movements". As far as I'm concerned, they bring out far worse people than the so-called dreaded "establishment" especially since you're more likely to move up in the "movement" if you simply have the right ideology as opposed to having any talent since the "movement", especially at the beginning, doesn't really require talent as opposed to subservient loyalty and devotion to "spread the cause". They also are patently absurd in that they never really have a sensible aim. Granted if they did, they would be less of a "movement" and more of a brand or perhaps an special advocacy group.

And I for one am glad to see America Chavez back in action. Yaboi Zack's coverage of the first unsuccessful run was great stuff. Hopefully, the sequel is just as great.

Thing is, what were the options? When Marvel started publicly chasing the SJW demographic, DC was quietly beginning to set their own outrage machine in motion, and satellite companies like IDW began to mirror the big two both in their books and on social media, where could a disgruntled buyer or shunned creator go? Aside from perhaps outfits like AP and Alterna - companies with a very limited title selection - the only avenue was a CG-type movement. With heavy-hitters like EVS, Malin, Boyette, and even Zack leading the charge, things SHOULD have been a no-brainer - that is, make SJW free comics, get them funded and distributed (maybe even on LCS shelves), and (ideally) present a solid front.

What happened to that plan? The best ones are almost always KISS in nature and this should've been no different. Saying a resounding NO to the likes of Marvel and DC had to happen in some way, shape, or form. Yes, I know there have been some extremely radioactive shenanigans from people like Waid, but that should've been expected and assetized as a rallying cry to expose these SJW creeps for the toxic people they are.

I THINK (or at least hope) CG is salvageable and all these feudal turf wars can be ended with a few simple email exchanges and phone discussions. However, it will require the involvement of people like Doug, Mike, JDA, and anyone else wishing to do some pushback against the SJW plague and I'll wager a fair number of those people will be on the other side of the political aisle.

United CG can stand, but divided it'll most certainly fall.

His from Shitty Web Comics, SWC revived. Idiots like him and the Comic Book Hut are the main reason why CG has never really faced any solid resistance. His videos normally consist of him and a co-host talking over each other, while claiming that they knew everything about everything before anyone else. God help CG if someone charismatic, articulate and objective begins to shine a light on their seedy underbelly, because most of the anti-CG crowd are just as plain old retarded.
