Well, from what I see here, the only part of the archive worth reading is the stuff that's already been shared on the Farms. Thanks for posting this, though. I just wanted to check and see if there was anything left out.
For anyone curious to find something else more interesting in the thread: You're not going to get it. Lots of back and forth responses from people, ranging from "nice LARP" to "holy shit."
Still, the original poster is an "anonymous source," and there's no real evidence to flat-out prove everything he/she's saying. A lot of those predictions he/she "revealed" were correct though, so ... There you go. There were definitely some Congressional representatives that took heed to the advice of pulling out of the stock market in a timely manner; they obviously knew something the rest of us didn't.
That said, back in January, there were a LOT of "doomers" (for lack of a better term) making predictions about this and doing the math. And a lot of those people turned out to be pretty accurate. This person could very well be one of those people, too.
The two biggest concerns for me, without a doubt, are the global economy and the possibility of this thing mutating. With the economy, at this point, I would consider it a win if the United States doesn't go into a depression (for real: the economic outcome of this is going to last for years). Over a week ago, I had come to terms with the fact that a recession is almost a guarantee. My most grim predictions concern the economic aftermath of this.
As for the virus mutating, that's always possible (and also pretty fucking scary). However, if it does mutate into something more lethal, then wouldn't it have a pretty good chance of becoming less contageous? At least in recent history, that has been the case. Anybody, feel free to prove me wrong. I'm no medical expert.
