The new furniture she gets with Peetz is going to be a waste of money since they're going to destroy the furniture like her black chair (it's like punctured beyond belief), the sofa section that's completely shredded down since they've not been trained to use a cat condo.
Honestly, they should just buy used furniture off Craigslist, or even from secondhand stores, given how trashed it's going to be in no time flat, and how little money these idiots actually have (and will have in the not-too-distant future). Between the cats shredding it and Chantal breaking it with her weight, it's not worth spending the extra money on anything new. But Chantal strikes me as exactly the type who thinks that buying anything used is gross (despite also being the type to eat Rolos fished out of a dumpster).
In the livestream she mentioned that she was going to get her passport today, which she paid extra to have rushed. Firstly, why did she need to have it rushed?

It's not like she needed it for work or anything. Unless you count binging at Sonic important work, which I'm sure she does.
Secondly, where is she going to go? The U.S./Canada border is closed to all non-essential traffic right now.
Given how stupid and unaware Chantal is, is possible she doesn't even know the border has been closed, and she didn't stop to think that could be a possibility when she applied for an expedited passport.
Thirdly, is it absolutely essential that she have it right now?
She's a deathpig! Of course! The ability to delay gratification is not a strong suit among fatties. Also, I suspect she knows she's hit a dead end as far as doing mukbangs of local fast food or at home, so she's hoping to boost views by gorging herself on whatever tantalizing varieties of American deathchow she can't get in Canada.
It seems like she's leaving the house now more than ever, at a time when she should be staying put.
Because she's stupid, profoundly ignorant, and a slave to impulse. Staying home is boring. The food there is not only boring, but too much work. She doesn't want to pack. She doesn't want to do laundry or attend to basic hygeine. She craves fast food, she craves stimulation, and she craves even the minimal positive contact she has with whoever takes her money and gives her food. So she goes out, heedless of the danger, because she feels driven to do so--there is no real thought behind it, only a crude addict's impulse.
