Alabama numbers - gonna try to be regular with state updates, daily if it doesn't feel like I'm shitting up the thread with them.
215 confirmed cases (+19 from yesterday's total of 196)
2,321 tests performed (+489 in the past 24 hours, yesterday's test total was 1,832)
0 deaths so far.
Looks like we're getting a positive test rate of <10%, which seems to line up with most other parts of the US. I'll be interested to see what happens to that positive test rate as the Chinese Virus™ continues to pick up steam.

The stylists have changed up their hours and scheduling so that clients are only being seen one at a time. Nobody hangs out in the waiting area. There are several booths, reasonably well-spaced and enclosed. It's no pressure ward, but that sliding glass door is heavy and makes a nice placebo at least. Haircut girl explained they have a little rotation going: client seen in booth B while booth A is disinfected/sterilized after previous client, and booth C gets a little quality contact time. Cleaning is done with barbicide and basic bitch 70% isopropyl. Good enough for me.
Nobody seemed to mind me showing up with my disposable gloves and alcohol wipes. The girl who typically cuts my hair has a young kid at home, which probably explains why they got relatively serious about cleaning and distancing.
The grocery store was completely cleaned out of Dave's Killer Bread. Not a huge deal since it freezes well and I still have a couple loaves, but I feel like someone's telling me "learn to make your own, jackass." My parents have a fancy bread maker that they never even use
