That's about the age that personality disorders crystallize. If you are a cluster B shithead, high school is when your life will start to really suck, and it will never get better. If they were self-aware, they would realize that treating their personality disorder is the only thing that will help them and their high school years sucked because they sucked and not vice versa. But self-awareness is not a skill that lolcows possess.

Why specifically 35? Trying to recreate high school at any age past high school is sad, and trying to do it beyond 30 is beyond pathetic.
This is ignoring the fact that Luke is, well, Luke, and that whole experience was never going to be achievable at any age.

It seems like if he gets all his plans fulfilled before 35, he can be the petite high-voiced teenage anime princess in Japan. But once he crosses that line, he’s doomed to be a hulking dude forever, his only future being a bullet from the death squads. I think he accepts the reality of age, but only past that point where he has no plans.
Really, though, it’s hard to tell. Reality is so arbitrary with this dude.

Unless they come up with a way to transplant a brain into an entirely new body Luke never had a chance of coming within 100 miles of beautiful. Even incredibly ugly (((woman))) is a bridge too far for Luke.

I think it’s autistic flailing. He had his heart set on this unrealistic idea of turning into an anime princess in Japan and now quarantine has put a spanner in the works. And he has no idea what to do, so he’s throwing a tantrum. Except as usual, instead of just screaming, he’s flooding Twitter with bizarre reasoning that makes sense only to him.
Okay, so what’s he going to do with this new information? I’m not aware of him ever doing anything selfless. Emotionally blackmailing his parents to pay thousands of dollars for surgery NOW NOW NOW that does nothing to address the root of his problems is not what an altruist does.
Funny how it’s always the selfish bastards who whine hardest about how tired they are of being kind to others.
