Well three years in I finally encountered TDS in the wild.
I was out grocery shopping and the store was pretty dead.
I'm going down the aisle and this guy is coming the other way.
I think nothing of it and stop to grab some crackers when suddenly I hear "I can't believe Mr. Cheeto wants to open up the country again."
I turn around and he's looking at me expectantly.
Now since I'm a normal person doing a normal thing I don't immediately grasp who the flying fuck "Mr. Cheeto" is.
After a few awkward moments he clarifies "Trump" and things came into focus.
After another few moments I just shrugged at him and moved on.
Honestly the whole thing is more amusing than anything else.
