Rex actually makes some level of sense because of the mandalorian/clone connection (I refuse to recognize the retcon that the Fetts weren’t Mandalorian. I’ve always interpreted that one line from the episode as the Minister pulling a No True Scotsman fallacy.

If Aphra is popular with any online circle of cum-swilling Disney Drones, it sure isn't manifesting through comic sales. Her comic sales make the Poe Dameron ones look like gangbusters, and that piece of shit ended on retaining less than half of its readerbase.

Well here are the results for the poll so far.
Majority seem to think its possible for George to buy back SW for cheap (which is possible since it would be incredibly profitable for him when considering how much he sold it for), while others think it'll be Amazon, which is also possible, but they're more like to want to buy Disney as a whole rather than pieces of it, so we'd still be stuck with the rat unless a major change is made to its board of directors, which may actually be the case judging from recent info:

Also good to hear the salaries for the big wigs are getting cut. Fuck them and Iger for constantly giving themselves undeserved raises. They were draining the well dry without giving a fuck.

There's also talks of removing a store or two from Galaxy's Edge, which will truly make that shit hole a true ghost town since its nothing but a glorified shopping mall. His only flaw is that he's a staunch KK and JJ defender. At least he was back in October...

Reading that information about Disney is sobering, normally I would be ecstatic, I almost...almost feel bad for some of them. I do genuinely believe (gleefully) this will be the end of "Star Wars land". Bad timing on murdering a beloved franchise Iger and Kennedy, too bad you didn't see a global shut down coming right on the heels of your final trash film. The last thing for them to do is make the Mandalorian a gay in the second season then maybe Disney will just go out of business altogether with buyers.

What happens once this coronavirus is blown over is that Disney is going to have to scale back like the others and maybe downsize. I don’t think they’ll recover financially after this. I think they’ll start fucking up in the competition and in a few years time they’ll be sold, probably to Amazon or Apple.

The people who are usually the worse affected by this are not the ones in charge making the terrible creatively bankrupt decisions in the first place, so I feel bad for most people who work for Disney not the ceo's who can easily brush this off. I'm glad the Bobs got some karma, now only KKK.

These people just can't comprehend the concept of staying power. For all their faults, the Prequels still had a number of captivating characters, creative settings, an amazing soundtrack and good battle choreography. Even their shortcomings such as the dialogue and George's often-questionable directing had staying power through the form of memes.
Meanwhile, as many people pointed out in this thread alone, JarJar and Ruin were so devoid of creativity, they weren't even able to produce some meme-worthy content out of three whole movies, save for the decent but short-lived TR-8R one. These movies were so boring, they didn't have enough staying power to carry them in your mind between getting up from your seat and going out the movie theater.

It is a lot easier to forgive a fuck-up that springs from good intentions than a spiteful clusterfuck. That is simple human nature, but as the Soothsayer Ya Boi would say, "SJWs don't human very well." These shills are either paid to ignore, or simply can't understand that the Disney films are the cinema equivalent of a jilted ex shitting in your mailbox and setting your car on fire, versus the burned birthday cake and apology blowjob of the Prequels. Folks were already coming around by the time of Sith, for fuck's sake.

I’m wondering if northern amusement parks will weather this better than Orlando. Places like Cedar Point and such that are used to shutting down for months at a time before restarting. As opposed to Disney/Universal which are used to year-round operations.
