The Kurds have been uppity for much longer than that. Besides that the Soviet Union took in Mustafa Barzani and supported his endeavors for an autonomous Kurdistan, they used Kurdish rebels against Iraq and only publicly ignored the Kurds after negotiations failed and the Soviets signed that friendship treaty with Iraq. Which still didn't stop them supplying weapons to the Kurds as late as the 80's. Plus Russia has been supporting the Kurds for decades since 2003 for access to their energy sector.

Even now Russia is eager to take them from US hands. Like I said, fuck the Kurds, but they've been useful pawns for awhile and not exclusively so. One could say the Kurds are thots in a political sense.

As you can see, the American Guard members never even managed to set foot outside of their bus before they got rushed. One of them did brandish a hammer at Antifa members... while they were trying to drag his friend out of the bus to do god knows what, but hesitated to swing it, which resulted in the hammer getting grabbed from him and thrown back at him. Respectable Lawyer took a shot of the guy brandishing the hammer, and removed all the other context. He knew exactly what the fuck he was doing when he cut out the bus getting rushed and the AG member getting grabbed.
