Most COD games that aren't WW2 have these technothriller stories that are actually pretty detailed and complex, hell the Blobs series finishes off a character arc that was started in World at War with brainwashing, political intrigue and a pretty decent plot. I unironically think - from watching that video - that Bob might be too dumb to actually understand the plot of modern FPS games such as CoD.
Also again 'Hyper-masculine violence' anyone that uses that phrase without irony is either a woman, or will never/has never touched a woman. Hypermasculine violence, fuck off Bob, it's normal masculine competition but your weak fucking spirit couldn't comprehend the idea of competition without whinging when you get your shit pushed in. I did also like the part where he admitted that he's never actually touched a gun, or even played a proper game as a child with them. "I played wargames, I got into water fights, and I am sure I would like paintball". Who the fuck hasn't been to paintball? Birthday parties, stag nights. Fuck me, me and some mates went paintballing at uni for the hell of it because York has a massive paintball arena and it's cheap. His virtue signalling about soldiers is also pathetic.
I stopped watching halfway through when Bob starts talking about how the FPS takes him out of the immersion because he's so pathetic that he can't conceive that in a conflict he'd be doing anything but waddling away. Bob has some major fucking autism where he can't seperate reality from fiction to the point where an FPS makes him tard rage because there's no 'be a manbaby and run away' option.
That was a fun blast from Blobs past, 9 years ago, the quote about being proud to be American, and the tard tier signalling that soldiers are brave compared to the dedicated fuckwit that he is today sort of remind me of the Libertarian to Alt right (supposed) pipeline, but the opposite; 'Immature manbaby to Parasitic SJW whale' or something.
TL;DR: Older Blob videos show how retarded, dumb, and ignorant he is and that he wants to be a child forever and nerds rool or something.
