These are just from the last day or so. He's been at this since the election. He's mentally stuck during the age of the moral majority and the PMRC, which was founded largely in response to songs like his band's "Golden Shower."

Canadians also like to hide behind the stereotype about how nice they are compared to Americans when large sections of the Canadian population are awful to each other, lots of regional friction. People from Alberta get called some truly nasty shit, most of the smaller provinces can't stand Ontario (deserved), West Canada sees East Canada as a bunch of leeches, Quebec, Strong Rural vs. Urban divide, etc. All the brewing regional drama is hidden behind this carefully constructed mask of Canadian identity projected to the outside world, one being how they aren't American.
