you know, im setting up my stream. and looking up how to show things such as newest follower, and recent sub names appear on my screen automatically. and watching a video thats 9mins long and already have it finished. got me thinking about how phil is so lazy to set this simple shit up that its actually making him do more work in the long run.

It's not (just) laziness, it's also about control. The same way people will tip him "troll" messages and he'll say something like "I see your tip, but I'm not going to answer that." He knows, as well as anyone with an ounce of common sense should know, if he had it setup to be automatic, you'd have TevinBlackedKat and God knows what else, just to get under his skin. He knows it, we know it, and the hilarious tragedy of it all, is if he was to unleash the floodgates and take all the shit, he'd make more money than he'd know what to do with, because people want to watch him sperg... then maybe get huge whales to dominate the board to stop the abuse, because they like Phil.

Coincidentally I watched Phil's 'Prom Story' earlier today and it paints quite a picture as Phil describes his 'Prom Situation':

• Phil said he had to think about it. Yeah, he wanted to go but he "wasn't horny for the girl, wasn't even really that friendly with the girl, and a few years back she actually made fun of me".

• Phil thinks because he was a part of this prestigious 'We don't give a shit' clique that's why he was now palettable to her.
• She told Indecisive Phil "There's another guy I asked, so you're both 'maybes'. If you get tickets, a ride, and everything we can go"
• Phil thought about it that night, thought about how it's a "Once-in-a-Lifetime experience", talked to his parents, and decided 'Fuck it, I'll do it', bought the tickets, and started "pricing everything out"
• Phil says he figured 'Hey, if it doesn't work out, fuck it, I don't even like her. At least I'm at Prom.' Phil did all this without calling and telling her 'Yes'
• Next day at school when Phil tried to talk to her she told him 'I'm already going with the other guy'
• Phil the Stable Gentleman told her 'FUCK YOU! WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?!?'
• Later the 'other guy' tried to confront Phil about how he treated her. Phil claims he picked up a chair and threatened to beat the guy's head in with it, and shouted 'You stupid idiot! I DON'T CARE ABOUT PROM! I'm pissed that she told me we were gonna go and I bought tickets and WASTED MY MONEY!'
• Phil says he asked the Head of the English Department who was also the Dean of Discipline to refund his tickets and told him "The girl's a fucking FLAKE, I should've known better, I didn't even want to go in the first place!"
• Phil gleefully laughs as he remembers the guy giving him the refund, because he didn't give one to anyone else. How Phil knows this isn't clear, and Phil is so happy about the memory of getting a refund he doesn't seem aware he was the only loser in high school who needed a refund and the guy was trying to make him feel better

Phil's most interesting life story is fourth place at EVO (which is why he never tells it in detail because he doesn't want internet mockery tarnishing it). Every story he tells smacks obviously of "I totally have a supermodel girlfriend in Canada/an uncle who works at Nintendo/a cousin who's an FBI agent" crap that most people stop slinging in middle school. The only thing in his life he's ever put any effort into is cajoling other people into making his fantasy life a reality, one where people pay him to do his job for him, never criticize him for any reason, and where he clocks out at the end of the day and magically has more money than he even knows how to spend.

That no one, ever, in his eleven year legacy has once come forward to tell their story about knowing Phil Burnell before he was DSP is all the proof anyone should ever need.
