Believe it or not, this actually is wrong and that thing does have three wings, purely because I found a use that is so far removed from Porsche or Star Wars that I can only figure that it must be a thing.

Behold the "new for 2020" Hot Wheels car: the HW Warp Speeder

The back of the package says "Designed with ultimate performance in mind, the top surface of this single-driver track car features a wing, giving it the ability to grip, and rip, its way to victory! "

Meaning that styled back portion of the car is a "wing". Naturally, the "Triwing" has a similar rear end in addition to two actual wings.

It was for this weird publicity thing Disney did with Porsche to promote IX by having Porsche design a Resistance ship called the "Triwing" which was just a Y-Wing cockpit mixed with a jet plane, a rear end that resembles the front of an X-Wing, and with the interior of a sports car. There were already ships called Triwings so they redubbed it the Pegasus Triwing despite not usually giving a shit about lore. Despite the name it only has two wings. Porsche is depicted as a subsidiary of Incom Corporation which was the name of the old EU manufacturer that designed the X-Wing. People assumed this Porsche shit would be Rey's new ship or appear in some form in IX, but it doesn't appear anywhere at all outside of Disney-Porsche promotions. So what was the point of this? The Porsche wasn't in the movie and its not meant to be a toy or model, and it has no relevance anywhere, so what was the point? The new lore even claims that they're commonly used by the Resistance and the Nu-Republic yet all they use is rehashed donut steal X-Wings, A-Wings and Y-Wings. Then again it shouldn't be too surprising that there's no consistency since the Plan IX comics claimed that the Resistance would be full of old OT, PT and EU aliens, with their second best pilot being a Nautolan, yet none actually exist in the film and all of their existences are contradicted by having other characters that take their spot. Its just more evidence of what little connection there is between writers at nu-Lucasfilm and the fucks at Bad Robot.

A good start would be the complacence that comes with the lack of any sort of serious threat and nothing more serious than ordinary crime. Unknown to anyone, Palpatine has slain his secret Sith Master and has started to formulate his plan to gradually take over the galaxy over the next two decades without anyone suspecting a thing. Meanwhile, the other events you mentioned start to take place which makes it easier for Palpatine to stay under the radar and detection by the Jedi.

Unfortunately, the fact there was too much extraneous political details at times in the PT has soured fans on seeing more of it. Some of that is justified and understandable. However, the right balance of political background mixed with the era's complacence and corruption could help provide more of the story behind what help lead Palpatine to the chancellorship and complete his plan for galactic control and domination.

If both the Bob's can get their salaries cut, It wouldn't be surprising if Kenndy got hers slashed too. I hope she got some comeuppance for her incompetence and agenda pushing. The filthy rich executives deserve a pay cut as well, most hollywood disasters are often thier fault with lower level employees suffering the fallout. This is the first time in a long time we are seeing karma biting them in the ass.

So Kylombine is somehow a better conflicted character than Anakin skywalker? I think someone at disney's marketing department is secretly writing for them, or they want some Disney money.

I have to re-read that again. James Luceno deserves more power at Lucasfilm but somehow Cowboy Dave was handed it instead. I don't blame him for the turd hair shit, but I do blame for the Plot holes in the new season, because he couldn't resist having Anakin and Padme talk to each other right before Rots and the Ahsoka reunion is going to be complete cringe that fanfic writers get mocked for. I hate how they are presenting this of the last of Lucas's Star Wars, because it certainly doesn't feel like it.

Another Criticism I have at Filoni Wars that hasn't really been touched upon is the shafting of the female Jedi to make Ahsoka look better, the new female characters in Filoni Wars are fine for the most part, but we have Lumiara unduli turned into a dull orthodox jedi who needs Ahsoka's help and is much colder than she previously was and was willing to give up and let Ahsoka and Barriss die.

Aayla Secura's relationship with Quilan has been neglected if we include Dark Disciple, and she feels more like a background character than her own like in the multi media project and the True Eu.

Adi Galia was given a new anti climatic death that contradicted the Obsession arc despite it being directly referenced in Rots just to make Donut steel Yellow Darth Maul more cool.

Bariss Offee healing abilities were completely ignored and she just became a plot device for Ahsoka and is somehow weaker than Ahsoka, even though she was the only Padawan to survive Genoisis, Yes I know Ahsoka is way more op than she should be, but it just proves my point of alot of female jedi being sidelined for hershe bombs the Jedi temple and after she is caught, she disappears from the show entirely, there is no payoff after that, just a plot device to convince Ahsoka to leave the Jedi order entirely.

Shaak ti despite being one of the best Jedi on the order considered to be par to Obi-wan was sidelined for most of the show except Kamino and apparently they were planning to kill her off mediating at the Jedi temple instead of surviving order 66.

Filoni Wars wasn't really kind to the female jedi, I'm not even going over the characters they left out entirely like Bultar Swan and Stass Allie.

Dave Filoni now claims the hatred of Ahsoka was because of sexisim, the irony. The characters they left out were better off,I'm so happy Filoni didn't get his hands on Durge.

I don't care if the Utapau arc was considered filler, it was the closest to Geoege's Star Wars akin to a New Hope we had, and Anakin actually felt like the same characthers I saw on screen. I would infinelty prefer it if those episodes got fully rendered instead of this Ahsoka's whereabouts shit.

Was talking with my buddy about this and he said, "You know, any writer will reach the limit of their creativity if they have to invent hundreds of characters day after day. If I was in charge, I very much would bring in more writers.

And tell them create self-inserts.

Then enforce that all the inserts have to be 100% of yourself - especially your flaws."

He also pointed out that what is up with every woman above being as flat or flatter than the males? The guys' have sloping, rounded shoulders too. To quote "You could swap the heads around and never notice any difference."

(I mean all you meatbags look alike to me anyway.)

Nothing wrong with self-inserts in of itself. You write what you know.

Luke Skywalker is a self insert of George Lucas.

But, as you say, you need a critical/honest eye to make the character work. Otherwise, it's just a boring power fantasy or fellaciating an ideal doppelganger...

Matt Porgcuck seems to have a high opinion of himself as his character is portrayed as "ultra cool and hot-headed" and stole the design of Dash Rendar's heavily modified YT-2400. I see a lot of eternal loyalists claiming they loved IX because Dash Rendar's ship is in the final scene (despite that you can barely make anything out in the bloated clutter) but the bluray release confirms that it was actually Matt Porgcuck's ship. Meanwhile Hidalgo and Leland Chee's self inserts were depicted as successful but still as compulsive nerds obsessed with their niches.
