It’s not uncommon for a bridal ring set to be matching and designed to be worn together. My dad gave my mom a high-end set with an engagement ring, wedding band and an anniversary band that made kind of a jewelry Voltron. They aren’t the most common these days, but they are out there on the high end.
The engagement ring itself is one ring, as for the other ring(s) they appear to be wraps or wedding bands but it's really hard to tell. My reasoning that the Fred Meyer ring is her engagement ring is there are certain characteristics that the rings share that I have not seen in any other engagement ring that I've looked at, and believe me I looked at a ton of these back when we first got the one picture and this is by far the closest I've seen:
Kat's ring has a bright spot in the middle, right where the Fred Meyer ring would be darkest.
Not necessarily, depending on the angle and lighting the shine could come from the edges of the diamond, you can look at pictures of people wearing diamond rings and you don't always see the brightness in the middle of the stone, here's an example of a similar ring at a similar angle with I'm presuming to be either a flash from a camera or some kind of overhead lighting similar to what we see in the photo:

I don't think it's so much that people hate khet as it is people making fun of her for being associated with Phil. Panda was obnoxious, but in a way that seemed to try to appeal to Phil's general audience, so she got shit on (justly so). Khet? She uses the microwave and plays overwatch in her room, and we don't see anything other than that. It's just unfortunate that she: 1. Isn't notably attractive to the point that people say "how did Phil land this?!? (money)", 2. Has the personality of soggy toast and dryer lint, and 3. Doesn't do anything to feed into the autism vortex other than allegedly existing.
I don't think khet will leave dsp unless she already has someone lined up, like how she had been talking to DSP for a while before subaru man found out. If she was planning to make a move I think we'd have heard DSP talk about how she's been working way more than before since she'd need a bit of money saved up. Unless she has a new guy to pay for everything I don't think she can afford to leave DSP right now. I think we'll see khet ride this down pretty far. Even if DSP's bankruptcy is thrown out or he gets the chapter 7 and they sell the house he still has atleast 8 months to a year or maybe longer before the apartment saga begins. And after the apartment saga begins I think she'll stick around until it affects her 60% NEET lifestyle. The only way I see her leaving is if DSP's income drops to like 30% or below of what he makes now. And if the potatoes have taken enough of a toll and she has gained weight like some have theorized she might stay forever until the murder suicide saga.

Seems pretty simple to me. He loves her because she's his mom and she loves him because he's her sugar daddy, all she has to do is cook, clean and work part-time, and gets to have her 'ahffice' and small-ass screen to play Overwatch. He probably doesn't even want sex.(Moving my off-topic rambling to the Kat thread)
The signs we've been given indicate a strong "maybe".
- As you probably know, she was cheating on Subaru Man when she started getting involved with Pig.
- She seems to have put on a rather transparently fake persona for him at the time - remember when Dave was telling us how his new girlfriend's favorite hobbies were cooking and cleaning? The "soulmaid" stuff didn't come out of nowhere. And of course she was "saying things to him that no one ever said before" after meeting Dave like twice. It's his own fault for falling for that act, but it doesn't reflect well on Kat for choosing to put on the act.
- Once married, the act didn't last particularly long either - the "gourmet meals" quickly degraded into frozen junk, and the obsequious maid now has Phil resignedly muttering "Happy wife, happy life". There's a sort of sense that like the proverbial honest politician, the honest gold-digger stays bought.
- She seems to have gotten considerably fatter even while supposedly going to the gym all the time, which might indicate some sort of funny business.
- Despite living in a household that's perpetually on the financial brink, Kat doesn't contribute much of anything; she only works a couple days a week, keeps her finances rigorously separated from Phil's, and won't chip in even when the house is supposedly on the line. In fairness, much of the dire straits may be pig exaggeration.
- Some of Phil's weird new hangups about women in games seem to have come from some sort of raging jealousy or insecurity on Kat's part. This is purely speculation, but something does seem to be up.
- She obviously can't be a total saint if she's possessed by demons.
There's obviously a lot of speculation and filling in the blanks here, but Kat just seems somewhat fishy in general.
