I laughed that after two bites he had to chew on some water. That cake looks dry as fuck to me, it's just a giant cocoa sponge cake with Eric Cartmen-tier obese kid icing.

Edit: Holy hell he's actually taking a sip of water after every tiny bite of cake. Did Khet put dust in it?

Either that cake is salty as fuck with all the peanut butter, or Phil has a multitude of cavities in his mouth and eating is an excruciatingly painful act for the pigroach.

So I saw some people speculating about Phil's teeth/oral hygiene last week and as soon as I saw the first video clip in the spoiler I knew I was going to make this post. Like everything mundane, routine, and irrelevant in Phil's life he has talked at extreme length about it.

Phil claims that "bad teeth run in my family. My mom has actually had a lot of work done." Phil thinks oral hygiene is genetic and that his chain-smoking mother has genetically passed down her oral problems to him. Thanks for the fucked up teeth mom, thanks for the gout aunty. Timestamped @ 50m48s

Phil says he brushes his teeth 2 to 3 times a day, but he has never flossed. He thinks you don't need to floss if you brush enough and that it has never negatively effected him. He says he never gets anything stuck between his teeth ever, and that his teeth just aren't "like that". Phil thinks he is currently in the best dental health of his life because he brushes his teeth 2 or 3 times a day and uses mouthwash once at night. Timestamped @ 38m08s

I hope with all that brushing Phil hasn't brushed the enamel layer off his teeth by frequently brushing after consuming acidic beverages like soda. Oh wait, what's this? Phil had to stop drinking Mt.Dew Kickstarter because the sugar would cause his teeth to hurt, he would brush his teeth after his streams and they would feel extremely sensitive from "having all this sugar stuck on them" (actually Phil that's from the acidity of the beverage, and brushing your teeth directly afterwards is why you now have sensitive teeth). Phil's teeth would "fucking hurt" from drinking a single soda and be sensitive when he would brush them. He thinks it's because of the sugar. It's the acidity and brushing while his mouth still has an acidic Ph that has caused this. The acidity softens the enamel on your teeth and you can brush that layer off if you brush too soon after consuming acidic food and drink. Timestamped @ 17m20s. At 27m he describes his teeth as 'overly sensitive', after listing off his favorite sodas.

Also Phil says "every time I eat stake it gets stuck in my fucking teeth, and it's there all day if I'm out." So Phil has steak for breakfast at a restaurant on his day off. So there you go [Leg Slap]. Timestamped @ 31m16s

In a few other clips he mentions he brushes his teeth directly after eating. He fucked up his own teeth and continues to do so. You want to wait at least a half hour after eating to brush your teeth. A dentist would have told him this if he would ever go and get his teeth cleaned, but he won't. He'll just keep blaming his mother for "passing down" her bad teeth to him and pretending he's doing everything correct.

This would explain the mystery of why he disgustingly swishes every sip of water around his mouth. The cake makes his teeth hurt and that's why he swishes and chugs water after every bite. It causes him pain to eat his wifes shitty boxed cake with the fucked-up frosting and he is doing it to flex about what a big boy he is, and to show that bitch Leanna how much better he has it with his Potato Wife.

I've been bigly into racing games lately, and thought to myself that in my casual DSP TIHYDP watching I haven't seen him playing a racing game, so I looked up him playing Driver: San Francisco. The video's format of "good idea / bad idea" tricked me into thinking the good idea part was Phil - so what, he's driving maybe way too carefully, but this looks like a really casual highway drive with no tough corners so yea he probably could be this goo- ohh, that was somebody else playing it. Phil's part starts, the moron keeps full on gas on corners and keeps insulting the game for fishtailing all the time, keeps going straight into other cars while insulting the game for putting the cars in his way, but I lost it when he once finally got in sight of the finish line, while being first, triumphantly said something like "finally, first place!", changed into the incoming lane and boosted right into an oncoming car, and lost the race.
4 minutes for the other guy to casually drive through this scenic barely-a-race, then 30 minutes of Phil's attempts at this

May god protect all the other drivers driving between the gout hovel and the nearest tendie store.

Racing games bring out the worst of Phil. I used to give Phil's gameplay the benefit of the doubt until I watched him race cars. Since racing games are simple, his terrible skills and excuses are extremely obvious. His NFS: Payback playthrough is truly exceptional. He hits oncoming traffic head-on and literally blames the game for 'spawning a car right in front of me'.

Holy moly were you right, watching FH3 right now. Guess this answers the question I had on my mind when I played the game a year ago - why did they put so many rewinds into a game that controls really well and easy - it was so that DSP could rewind to hit the same tree 3 times.

I loved his face while he was eating it and the exagerated "mmmmmmm, it's so good guys!!!" Especially when he would take bites and his lips wouldn't even touch the fork. That's the sign of a delicious cake there guys.

I remember Phil recently said on stream that on a previous Birthday Kat made him a cake which he froze and ate piece by piece over the course of weeks. I just find it funny and sad that he has no friends so that he is left alone to slowly whittle away at a big party cake by himself.

These birthday celebrations he holds for himself are so pitiful, lol. And he recently said his birthday isn't about receiving gifts. Yet I am damn sure he wasn't about to turn down that $800 he "surprisingly" recieved in donations.

All of his special events just boil down to "Time to pay up!". God forbid he ever does an event where he decides to give something BACK to those viewers who have given him thousands and thousands.

Watching Phil play driving games is really something else. Like you say, he has no concept of how cars turn or driving physics. Things even kids understand before they start driving. Phil has only played kiddy racing games of late, but even in them you can see how special he is.

I've said it to other people before but I really want to see DSP play Spintires as a "chill game". He'd get stuck so fast and has such poor planning skills he'd never consider using tow cables to help pull himself out. It'd be atleast 30 minutes of him yelling about shitty game devs making him get stuck and yelling at chat asking them to help him get unstuck.

Watching Phil play driving games is really something else. Like you say, he has no concept of how cars turn or driving physics. Things even kids understand before they start driving. Phil has only played kiddy racing games of late, but even in them you can see how special he is.

A couple of his driving game TIHYDPs I can't even watch because it's him complaining about "fishtailing" 10 times per minute for 3 straight hours.

Hasn't Phil claimed he hasn't been to a dentist or check up at the doctors for years?

That's another retcon he's made, before Khet moved in he would claim either no care whatsoever or no specialist care (you know, for the gout he doesn't have) due to extremely high costs even though there were bottles of prescription meds in his photos of the WAKhando. Since Soulmare moved in, he's copped to seeing doctors himself and admitted that she's on crazy pills.

Also worth noting that in his :autism: addled mind, the cost of a doctor's visit is the whole amount, not just the copay (which is why he bitched about a "$500 hospital bill" he got, only to admit later on that insurance paid for most of it). So yes, he may have refused to see a GP because he saw the uninsured cost ($140 + or - in my own experience) and been too lazy or exceptional to realize insurance would most or all of it. My personal theory is that he doesn't get regular physicals or dentist's visits because he thinks they are unnecessary and the "2 to 3 times a day plus mouthwash" is the standard advice anyone will give to that quesiton. Probably also skips physicals and just goes when he's feeling sick.

I remember when someone asked if he could give out a couple of gift subs every once in a while, you can guess how that went.

It would explain why you never see a full teeth grin or a toothy smile from him. Go look through all his photos on Instagram and it's all meek little pudgy smiles or the beta soy face going on without any teeth showing.

Brings up an interesting thought. His medical insurance could be around 1k/mo expense. Don't think we've considered that.
