Instead it is told to the player, which gets to the point without making it come off as creepy fetish shit. The fact that I forgot about shows that the scene was made to disturb the player rather than pleasure the author.
Case and point, the earlier builds had you go into the bathroom to wipe blood off yourself. The only thing covering you was smoke clouds. In the newer build that got replaced with a towel. This would be ok if the students were unquestionalbly adults. They are not. A more elegant solution would be to either make the player wipe themselves using paper towels or to make the process of going into the locker to change clothes wipe the blood off the model.

Yes. It would give it a different perspective and make us think the comment is even worse if thought he got off on that sort of thing. I'd argue the biggest difference is...the panty shots aren't really treated like something disturbing outside of characters catching you go "What are you doing? That's weird" or something. It's extremely easy to not get caught and it's a huge mechanic for the game, compared to Yuri's comment obviously meant to be disturbing and is made to make you uncomfortable...YanDev doesn't really treat it like it's something disturbing. He just brushes it aside and backpedals a little by giving alternate rather than sticking to the mechanic or just getting rid of it entirely by giving new options that really just make it a lot easier to gather the points you need to "buy" stuff from Info Chan.

If it looks like a child, it's considered to be a child under Australian laws regarding child abuse material. Claiming a character is, say 1000 years old, or in the case of YanSim, 18+, when they're obviously depicted like a child/teenager wouldn't fly with them.

The weebs in that reddit thread don't understand that, of course. It's why people who import questionable-looking manga from overseas have their packages opened up by border security if AusPost thinks they contain prohibited/quarantine-risk (i.e plant seeds) items.

Lolita is weird because without realizing the literature bit of it it's creepy as all hell. It shows us the gaslighting methods of predators, but we know it's meant to do that cause it's from the perspective of one and this is fine Russian literature not a porn game supported by 12 year-olds. Those moments in DDLC creeped the shit out of me and sorta turned me away from it for a while but the thing is Yuri is batshit insane and this is a horror game.
