"Assassination Day" trends on Twitter (archive)

A whole lot of people seem disappointed that the phrase was not trending due to any actual death. I would offer a thought exercise based on the consequences of a hypothetical presidential assassination occurring smack dab in the middle of a nationwide emergency, but thought exercises are wasted on people who are incapable of thought.

There seems to be some ching chong infiltration at the press briefings. One was some lady who worked at Phoenix tv which she starts spouting Chinese propaganda and her company has ties to the state and recently another with a reporter whose name is..Ching-yi Chang (you can't make this shit up lmao) who works at a news outlet based in Taiwan but actually in Shanghai and also has ties to the State.

They're giving the Chosen People a run for their money when it comes to infiltrating western governments. I'm surprised those outlets are even allowed in. Maybe they can get their press passes revoked.

I'm guessing some stupid ruling same thing happened when trump tried revoking Acosta's pass. Iirc i think they're gonna be cracking down on foreign nationals like these peeps soon.

Lol. And this is r/moderatepolitics.
The other posts in that thread are pretty deranged too. One guy is trying to argue that Hillary won all the debates against Trump, including the "you'd be in jail" one because he has "polls" to back it up. He's not mad though guys.

Yes, of course!
Yes Trump is the one who is afraid of debating.
Trump is the one afraid to get on a stage with the Joepedo

Ah yes, the logic of "I might look bad debating someone even more cognitively impaired than Hillary, so I'll instead skip out on debates ensuring I look bad". Makes sense. Obviously someone who already won one presidential bid with multiple debates under his belt would make that decision for a re-election.

Yeah, that person is clearly delusional and is in urgent need of medical attention.

I've heard Trump called many things before, but afraid of confrontation is not one of them.

I think Trump’s fearlessness regarding confrontation is what really drives a lot of the TDS. If Trump simply went along with what the MSM was vying for all the time, they probably wouldn’t hate him as much. The fact that Trump also calls the media out on their BS also gives him an edge compared to past presidents. At least compared to modern presidents, Trump is more willing to fight the media over things, rather than letting the issue blow over.

Yeah, I mean I get if your TDS makes you just hate everything about him, but if you're gonna lash out at least keep it plausible so you don't look too unhinged. The guy absolutely loves confronting people and even a majority of democrats would agree with that. I saw him ages ago do an interview on the Larry King show and while sitting right across from Larry, he told Larry his breath was bad right on the air. The man just revels in making people uncomfortable.

Let's see if "assassination day" will trend more higher if Maduro, Xi or Macron are assassinated. :story:

My mother's sources of information, facebook and msm, have convinced her that Pelosi is the only one keeping America running under orange man and his band of cronies. It's really bizarre sometimes having conversations I hearing what she "knows" about what's happening in America.

Lol. And this is r/moderatepolitics.
This is something really minor but it always interests me to find out, what do they consider the "modern era" in this case? Exact dates differ but if you look up the term "modern era" many sources cite the Renaissance as the beginning of the modern era. If they're meaning post-WWII then most people use contemporary era to denote 1945 to present. Either way I'd say that Trump being the most "frightening president of the modern/contemporary era" is a little much.

Why do people like to exaggerate so much with "most far right President America has ever seen" or "most corrupt government ever" when even I as someone that doesn't know too much about American Presidents could probably quickly find worst contenders for both. This isn't even mentioning how most US presidents of the past wouldn't line up properly with today's politics because of how much our norms have changed.

Also, I believe the one most afraid of Biden debating Trump is the DNC because I doubt Biden would stand much of a chance.
