1) I never said I wasn't going bankrupt. Go back and listen to my streams; I never said that. I just banned people that were mentioning it.

2) I never directly took a shot about ProJared! I just talked about his entire situation, but I never once named him!

I'd put money on this being it. Also I bet COVID-19 has him thinking about mortality (his, his parents', whatever) and talking about the deceased triggered his self-pity. I'll believe any of those before I believe it was genuine grief.

Phil has lied and contradicted himself so many times I have trouble believing he's sincere about anything. The few times he probably is sincere blend in with the thousands of times he's not so it's impossible to tell which is which.

I think its probably stress overflow from the fact he's penny pegging playing games online (which he hates) and some time part of his brain thats still functioning like normal recognizes how unhappy he is compared to when he and his best friend played games together and traveled for tournaments.

Phil's autistic about social interaction, so Rambo was the one who had fun while Phil rode his coattails.

But I do think Phil is genuinely unhappy and incapable of fixing the problems in his life (because he's an idiot who self inflicts them) so his brain looks for outlets for all those emotions that arent 'his fault'm

I find him saying this really funny given he had no problem saying someone disagreeing with him was a projared fanboy, so he did actually name drop Jared at least once.

Mind you if that were ever brought up to him he'd happily do some mental gymnastics to make it okay, guaranteed. Honestly that he talked shit about the guy, but was too much of a pussy to directly reference him, and now is using that as a shield for why it was okay is pretty pathetic. I think self-hatred is slowly and steadily settling in for Phil. The failing bankruptcy proceedings are finally making him realise that he himself is the main cause of his current pitiful situation. His ego can't handle that of course, so he keeps on targeting his self-hatred towards his detractors. When Phil talks about his detractors, more often than not he speaks about himself. The detractors are doing nothing more than point a mirror in his face and that's why he still pushes them away so diligently.

WingsofRedemption also hates himself but is at a more advanced and mature stage. He doesn't antagonise his haters. He knows that's pointless. He knows how to sit down and take it. He's ban-happy on Twitch in order to remove negativity from his life. And I don't blame him for that, it's a legit strategy against depression.

In some of these situations I think he genuinely forgets what people are referencing due to ginbrain and just says whatever puts him in the best possible light. When people bring up evidence he doubles down because he doesn't want to give the detractors a win, even though half the time it's curious fans asking him an honest question.

At this point Phil is operating entirely on instinct, like a weird, gouty animal. He reflexively replies to all questions with a mixture of hostility (detractor paranoia) and confusion (he doesn't fully understand and doesn't care to). His constant semantics/retcons are hilarious, things an elementary schooler would say when confronted with something. Maybe Phil thinks he's a genius for obfuscating every detail of his life, but I would argue it's some kind of messed up reflex so that his brain never has to accept "the God's hahnest truth."
